Hi!

Hi guys! I was just made aware of this place and thought I'd join up. I'm hoping to get some advice here and I'm also going to share my creations in LBPK.

I bought LBPK to have something fun to play splitscreen with friends, but I've found I enjoy making levels very much too so I wanted a community to share with and get advice from.

Here's my published creations so far, if you'd like to see them:

VolcanOasis:

This was my first real attempt at something publishable so there are some thins I'm not happy with but I think it's fun anyway.

I do hope I've done this right and I'm looking forward to hanging out here with you guys!

(Ps: Can't seem to get the pictures to show up in the post itself, only as clickable links. If it's something I'm doing wrong any help would be appreciated.)

Heya, No_good_username!

Hmm, did you introduce yourself or the levels? Your levels looks awesome, but sadly I only own LBP1 for PSP, LBP1, LBP2 & LBP3 for PS3. If the images aren't showing themselves then try to copy their URL address and paste it to the Insert Image button.

Anyways welcome to this one pretty party site and be sure to never let go from your dreams because they are always precious.

See ya!

Hi new friend with the no_good_username,

nice to meet you! I don't know many friends, who are actively building levels for Karting, I havn't played Karting for a long while and now my PS3 is broken. So I won't be able to try your levels for a while. If you want your pictures to be seen in your posts, then you can put the URL of a pic between URL. This should work. I wish you a lot of fun here and many greetings, Jürgen^^

Hi TenebrisNemo!

Hmm, did you introduce yourself or the levels?

He he, if there's something else you'd like to know about me or I should have added to my first post then please let me know and I'll add it

I recommend getting LBPK too! I got it after searching for cheap, fun splitscreen games and it really is cheap and fun, though it seems it has a lot fewer players and makers then LPB 1/2/3 unfortunately. Still wort the money in my opinion! Thanks for the advice about pictures, I'll try that. Do you by any chance know how I can turn the links into text? For example just having "VolcanOasis" be the link in stead of having to put the link underneath it?

Edit:

copy their URL address and paste it to the Insert Image button. Hmmm... I uploaded directly to this site, something I see now is of course unnecessary as I could just link to the LBPK images, so maybe that's the problem.

Hello and thanks to you Jürgen

Me neither, but there seems to be levels added every day and seeing as I have two friends on PSN and I got one of them yesterday and haven't had the time to check his/her profile yet, that's not really saying much

Too bad about your PS3, I hope it'll work itself out soon. I'm planning on building a few TV-series and movie themed leves, starting with Westeros today. If that works out than maybe you'll have more to try when you get it sorted and if you want of course.

By the way, how did you get the flag beside your name? That would be fun to have

Hahaha, No_good_username, please be lenient with our Nemo!...he's... our Nemo! I'm sure that soon you will cherish his humor! *maybe that you'll loose some hair and lots of nerves till then...but in the end...*
"Westeros"??? Does this mean that you're working on a "Game of Thrones" - racing course??? OMG!!!! Can someone repair my PS3, please!!! Nooooww!!!!
The flag beside my name is a Distinguished Sevice Order...hahaha! Ok. now the true story in a short version! Two years ago the German LBP community lost its place to be! Its been a hard time for us, trying to keep a community together without any place to meet, but then I talked with a friend from lbpc and he talked wih the admin and lbpc offered us to get part of it with an own section for all German speaking members! Thanks to lbpc once again for the continuous hospitality and friendship. To care for our German speaking community we've got the offer to nominate four moderators and the flag beside my name is the sign that I'm one of the four German LBPC community moderators. Comparable with... an actor with one hand missing!...you could immediately know that he's been playing a part in "Game of Thrones".

Have a lot of fun and many greetings, Jürgen^^

I'll certainly try, but don't get your hopes up, I'm only a beginner after all, so even if I manage to draw all those castles an everything else I'll have to custom make, it's not sure it'll be any good.

To bad I can't have my very own flag, but it's an interesting story Thanks so much for the warm welcome!

Edit: I'll just copy - paste something from my other thread (presenting my levels in the LBPK part of the forum) that I think applies here too:

I just wanted to thank you guys for the advice, plays and thumbs up I've gotten on my first tracks. It's really fun that somebody liked them and it makes me want to keep creating. So yeah, thanks again!
