How is it that players were able to play levels on my earth that were locked? I did not give out the keys to anyone. Now I make them sub levels. But I was wondering how they did it and I wanted others to know that a locked level isn't completely secure.

But I was wondering how they did it and I wanted others to know that a locked level isn't completely secure. People were able to play locked levels in LittleBigPlanet 2. I never knew how personally but a friend told me he'd play one of my levels that I locked. I asked how but I didn't find out. I didn't know that players could still play locked levels but, hey, Sumo Digital probably just advise you to make them sub-levels. I did a little search about the glitch but found that it was to do with the Dive-In feature. But since there's no Dive-In feature in LittleBigPlanet 3, I don't know. I read about there being an exploit to activate the Dive-In feature in LittleBigPlanet 3. But don't worry about it. This probably didn't help much, but I've written in now.

Let me clarify. I really don't want anyone to put into writing an exact "how to" hack a locked level. I just want everyone to be aware that it is possible in lbp3. What I was wondering is it a glitch? Are these players innocent? Did they even see a lock on the level badge?.... Or did they intentionally hack into locked levels? I tried contacting one of them in game and asked them how, they answered me with a very uninformative and evasive response. The other hacker said they didn't take anything and advised me to make the level a sub level in the comments.

I will not tell it since you told not to do so, but I will say that the players can be considered not innocent. Entering locked levels has to be intentional.

If you are publishing a transfer level like I was. Make it a sub level. If you're putting out a beta that you want your friends to test, you probably won't care so much if others break in without keys, but it is possible.

Is that confirmed? It can't happen accidentally? I've never tried nor have I had it accidentally happen so I don't know. Nope, can't happen accidentally, people will intend to go into your level. It is a glitch, not a hack, so once they get in all they can do is play and take a cheeky selfie.
