Ever since the last patch, 1.05 (I think), my player progress is not saved. Every time I turn the ps4 off my pin progress and any story prizes I collect are forgotten. This includes dlc. I played the entire DC comics pack and the next day it said 0% goodies and prizes. Now I can still create. I can capture objects and they are remembered. I am awarded the same three pins every time I start up the game and it says the news has been updated when it hasn't. So it's not remembering that I read the news either. I'm fairly sure this is a bug from the patch. I downloaded dlc packs and my prize crown right after the patch. My missing team picked pin is one that is awarded every time I start up. So if there is corruption detected it could be from one of those things I suppose. The problem is I'm stuck. No matter what I do, my player progress reverts back to this point when I shut down the system. Should I contact sumo digital? And what is the best way to do that?

This is an experience that many gamers are sharing with you! I've downloaded the monster-pack and the Marvel-pack and played them after the patch, for about three days it seemed all well, but today both packs have been set to 0% again! I think there will have to be a patch for the patch! My recommendation: breathe in deeply and breathe out deeply, stay calm and exercise patience! You're not alone! Many greetings, Jürgen^^

Yeah I hear ya. With these issues going around in LBP3, it put me on a creative block and I am still having problems trying to get the Move Pack's instruments back again. As I am unable to use the Move for PS4, I really don't want to go through stages and prize bubbles to obtain them once more.

You should not bother about contacting Sumo Digital personally since almost everyone has the same issue. The best thing to do it to wait it out and stick to creating instead of playing. Yes, even levels that you play in the community gets reset so it looks like you never played them.

Yeah I have noticed this as well, My guess is their new functionality to prevent profile corruption is the culprit of this issue. Hopefully they can push out another patch fairly quick to get this fixed!

Do you suppose that they were aware of this issue but decided it was better than getting a profile corruption that destroys everything? Or do you think they were unaware of this issue and thought that they had actually released a working fix? FWIW, the new update has already saved me from a profile corruption. It's annoying that I can't permanently unlock the prizes from the Monster Pack, though.

I am also surprised it was so easily missed: that's why I wonder if they knew about it and decided it was worth it anyway; because how could they not have known? Am I wrong in thinking this is affecting just about everybody?

I would expect more buzz if it effected everyone. The game had so many bugs when it was released that this doesn't surprise me. At the same time I think they should be working extra hard to fix things and maybe they are, but I think it's time for them to bring in the experts, whoever that might be, and get it done right.
