Arcade forum.

a forum for the arcade sounds like it could be a good idea. people could use it to set up tornaments (i know you already do that but if you make a thread about it here it'll probley more active. cause i noticed almost all the tournaments section is almost completely dead) and suggest other games could go in there. or just talk about the games that are in there.

it can be located in the site stuff section. so how does this sound? i think it's a good idea.		2009-03-03 04:15:00

Great idea imo

The arcade is DEAD and personnaly haven't been on it for AAAGGGGEESSSS

If there was a forum for it where people could talk *cough, BOAST about getting the high scores* about the arcade then I think more people would use it.
Because if someone posted something in a thread people would see it and think, right I'm gonna go try and beat that (or participate in a tournament)		2009-03-03 23:01:00

ARCADE! Some one call me? () but yeah i think this will be a good idea. The tournaments lose ground and people do not know how they progress etc. etc. So i agree with this completely

I dunno...
The arcade isn't dead because of lack of traffic, it's dead because most of the games are really broken.
The high-scores have all been achieved and nobody is likely going to be able to match them unless the scores are wiped, and even then it's just a matter of time before someone blows the scores out of the water again.		2009-03-04 11:29:00

Yeah and things like Hexagon are maxed out. It's just impossible. Either add more games, or a feature where achieving a score above x points on a game earns you 20xp or something.2009-03-04 18:55:00

well i meant the tournaments are dead. every time i go to the tournaments page it's the same exact tournaments in waiting with no change on the number of open slots. i even made one and no one at all has entered and it's been up there for a week now.2009-03-04 22:21:00

Perhaps a sub-forum in the video games section. I don't think it merits a whole new section for itself. Arcade is pretty much dead, even if local tournaments and big ones (such as Evolution) are held yearly.2009-03-06 01:45:00

The scores aren't too high.. at all. It's just Tetris and Space Invaders that are endurance-highscores. (Tetris not so much, since it gets really hard, but Space Invaders is way too easy.. pure endurance) I actually beat the Mario Highscore not too long ago, and.. Snake/Spy Hunter is definately achievable with some practice. Simon kinda sucks because you can cheat, and i believe 50 is the highest score so it's all about time taken..2009-03-06 14:42:00

uh did you skip a word after high?

anyway that does sound good . maybe having it as a whole forum seems like that goes overboard. i didn't know sub-forum existed. if i did i would have suggested that. plus a weekly sounds good and maybe getting some experience for having the highest score of the week.
