When the site was down...

Archive: 31 posts

What message board sites did you commonly used during LBPC's biggest downtime? Even with the site down, I still went to a forum site and posted a lot there. I bet that some of you haven't used other sites during this last downtime.2015-02-16 20:28:00

I posted on some gamefaqs boards and narutoforums.

Mostly, I was in my steam chat.

It will be hard to reel in my tongue on here unlike how I did for the apst two months.

hm.

I was on GameFAQs too, but very little prominence there. Most of the time, I was on the Bell Tree Forums. During this last downtime, there was a fair going on at the site, celebrating its 10th anniversary. I enjoyed the TBT Fair. It was fun. I also blogged there a lot (in fact, it was faster than what I did on here).2015-02-16 20:34:00

The german community made a new little LBP Forum for / because of the downtime
But we missed LBPC so much

I read all LBP Forums a little bit during downtime, but have no account on LittleBigNetwork, LittleBigForum etc.

I see that some of you were on other LBP forums. LBPC is the only LBP forum I use. When it was down, there are several other LBP forums I use, but I don't plan on registering for them since I'm used to LBPC. The only other forum I use nowadays has very few people who know about LBP, even the ones who are members of the PSN. But that's okay. I play Animal Crossing more than any other game now, and TBT is an Animal Crossing site.2015-02-18 20:33:00

I found purpose and lost... something whichwouldbeinappropriatetosayonfamilyforums.

Truth to be told, purpose never was worth all the hype.

Great wee site.

No. Go away, Shooter. Nobody should ever knowingly market that site to anyone. It's the worst place not on planet earth and you must avoid it at all costs. It's not even a site, it's... it's a pit of sadness and terrible inside jokes.

Planetarium, Reddit, Smashboards, etc.

Mostly Twitter, come to think of it.

Now that's just plain wrong...

...It's only mildly sad.

Ahh, that satisfying moment when I hopefully clicked on my LBPC bookmark and the site actually opened. In the meantime I've been popping by Sackinima now and then. It's not the same, but it's a good site. I'll have to remember to not stop visiting it.

If I recall correctly, I found out LBPC was down the day I bought LBP3, and the day the Legend of Korra finale aired. Two things I really wanted to talk about, and the forums where I usually did that weren't available. That was frustrating as hell.

I missed talking to you. It's been a long time.

What is Sackinima like? Should I join?

Dunno if there's much point to it. The community is small and not very active, although LBPC has seen better days as well.

When I go there it's usually to talk on the chat. It's a cool feature. I wouldn't mind it if LBPC had one as well.

Littlebigfourm is a good one. The layout of the site is fantastic and you'll find plenty of other great lbp fans there. The only downside is that it isn't exactly as populated as lbpc, but it's still great.2015-02-20 20:10:00

Right now, LBPC is less active than Sackinima, maybe even LBF too.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. This has really become an argument over other sites? Isn't the whole point of LBP to gather everyone together in the spirit of "Play, Create and Share"? Each site has good points, as well as bad points too.2015-02-22 15:54:00

This, regardless of where you choose to spend your time we are still one big community with the same goals and ideals. No site is bad, all are equally creative.

Bravo..

Plus the fact that the OP was simply asking where folks were visiting during our downtime. No need to get snarky if you don't like a particular site. They all have their own personalities and purposes.
