Well, 2014 is almost over, sadly, and with 2015 coming up, I think it's time to discuss what the best games were (or your favorites at least). I'll start. For me, it was Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. I have so much fun playing these games, and I can barely find anything wrong with either version. Oh, and both games WORKED at launch.

This year kinda sucked for Playstation games. The only 2 that I can think of are Infamous Second Son and LBP3. Meanwhile Nintendo killed it this year, with DK Country Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, both Smash Bros games, and Pokemon ORAS. If I had to pick an absolute favourite game of the year, I'd probably go with DK for being my favourite 2D platformer in years. Followed by Smash U/3DS tied for second, then LBP3 coming in at #3. Although LBP3 is still subject to patching and whatnot. Once it works properly, I'll gladly move it to number one. Heck, it wouldn't have even broken top 3 if patch 1.03 hadn't already come out. If they fix the corner editor jittering, the online lag, the broken local multiplayer, the DLC, the imported objects and stuff like that, it'll definitely make it up there. That is still a pretty major list of problems, though.

Well the 2 major games I waited all year for was LBP and Borderlands pre sequel. Both ended up being buggy and not as good as the previous one in the series. I'll just keep playing LBP3 and hope it gets fixed ._.

I'd go for LBP3, and actually I do because I just love the franchise, but putting aside my biased opinion, I really loved Bayonetta 2. Man, it is just so polished, fun and original. Nintendo took everything that was good from the first game and made a jaw-dropping sequel for a console that didn't even have the first installment of the series. That game was a 10/10 for me too.

In terms of new releases I'd probably say Far Cry 4.
