Dephysicalizing woes

The more I use it, the more I start to hate it. Every time I try to use it I get a problem, some should clearly work after experience with it in LBPV. Its even causing crashes, and I start to worry on my projects.

Issues I've found so far (Will post the rest when I remember them).

They cant interact with impact sensors. I did this so many times LBPV and made some wild projectiles with it.

They frequently wont be picked up when you try to select it in a group

Various tweakers can sometimes fade behind the material, unable to be picked up without changing the material in some way

Sometimes they cant be emitted if its in front a solid object (UPDATE: Using the physics tweaker usually works)

NEW: Certain lethal objects (Incredibles Drill for example) still can still kill the player if it touches it, this also can include regular lethalized objects when they are destroyed from an expired emitter

I've had crashes which I believe involve materials dephyicalized and gyroscoped put near a wind material: There goes my fancy HUD (UPDATE, scratch this, this seems to involve wind material issues since regular objects crash it as well)

Is there anything else I should be aware of this blasted tool?

Well. With the Physics Tweaker, you do have the option to only allow Sackboy to pass through, and not other objects; or only other objects, and not Sackboy. And then there is also tags, or everything.

As for everything else in your list there, I would sum those up to glitches, or things they forgot to add.

To be clear, you're talking about the dephysicalize tool here. Not the physics tweaker's collision option? Can you try switching to the physics tweaker and see if you still get the same errors?

I haven't had any problems with dephicalize but I havan't tried to do anything too fancy with it yet.

I haven't had any problems with dephicalize but I havan't tried to do anything too fancy with it yet.

Sometimes the tweaker does help and sometimes it does not (cant remember which ones, too frustrated right now), no changes on the crash related one, they only thing I found after hours of crash testing is that taking off the gyroscope only prolongs the crash by a few seconds instead of it being instant

I've noticed the dephysicaliser only works on some objects. One object might become non-colliding and another never does. What is the point of this tool if it is so inconsistent?

And yes, when using the opaqueness tweaker you can not multiple select objects where one or more is set to 100% transparent either.
