Disable Sackbot Change Button L1 - Problem

So you have a Sackbot that can change by pressing the default L1 button. In the beta you could wire something to the controlinator of the Sackbot to the input of the L1 and disable that button press. This way you could hook up logic to say when the user could change or not. I cannot replicate this in the final game anymore. Did I miss a step? 1. Create a Sackbot 2. Add controlinator to Sackbot circuit board. Set closest Sackboy to control Sackbot. 3. Place a tag sensor on the Sackbot controlinator 4. Wire the tag sensor to the input of L1 In beta this would stop the L1 button from happening unless the tag sensor was on. Now it is not. | 2014-12-14 18:18:00 Author: blastroid Posts: 262 |
Did you uncheck overwrite sackbot on the controllinators? I was in the process of preparing something like this myself (cant actually test this yet, cause the bots logic isn't finished yet to copy to its future 2nd form so I tested it with the other buttons) | 2014-12-14 18:46:00 Author: JKthree Posts: 1125 |

The method I used was having 2 controllinators (both unchecked on override) one set to receive the other neither send or receive. The receiving button outputs go into the other controller inputs, with the changes or removals needed (Say I wanted [] to jump, []'s output would go into X, disabling form change would have nothing in L1) Sorry im terrible at explaining logic, I'm trying to find a tutorial cause that's how I learned about this method UPDATE: Think I found it, around 5:50 of Comphy's vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6vi1JhVmBE&feature=channel_video_title | 2014-12-14 19:06:00 Author: JKthree Posts: 1125 |
