Can I use a grab switch which will make an object move in and out between a few layers. Iv got it to work moving one direction but not returning..

You should use an Advanced In/Out mover set to Forwards/Backwards : ) hope this helps.

You can use an advanced in/out mover. If you don't want to do that, you can use another in/out mover to push it in the opposite direction when you let go of the sponge. You'll have to attach another grab sensor and oppose it's output to make it work.

You'll have to attach another grab sensor and oppose it's output to make it work. Or use a NOT gate. So when the grab sensor is not activated it will move back.
