Has anyone managed to finish the Muppet DLC?

The bouncepads in the Cloning Beaker level don't work so I cannot reach the end of the level (or continue on to the last 3 levels)

I'm curious if anyone has gotten them to work and passed that point.

On some of the bounce pads if you collect the prize bubbles or point bubbles near the bounce pads it makes them not work. Try avoiding the bubbles and some of them will work.2014-12-12 20:48:00

I just had to keep trying on the first block of failing bounce pads, restarting the level over and over until I made it through. A later one, I was able to get through with a second controller: I had the second player move the platform back up while I was on it and then drop out. That put me in reach of the jump I needed. But yeah, the bouncepads in that level are extremely buggy.

Does anybody remember if the boss fight in the last level was only supposed to give you one life? Every time I die, it's game over and I have to start from the beginning? I guess the advantage is that, if I'm able to complete it at all, I won't have to replay it for the Ace.

There's also a bug in the first level of the MGS pack: the prize bubbles tend to get stuck on top of the truck instead of dropping down on your sackboy. I haven't finished the PotC pack yet (crazily enough, I prefer to spend my LBP time creating rather than replaying outdated levels for prizes I already own but can't access) but I didn't experience any glitches in the first couple of levels.

I managed to scrape through to the last boss but I have to ACE it because once I die it asks me to 'replay' the level.2014-12-12 22:08:00

Thanks guys,
I guess I'll just keep replaying it until I can get the pads to respond.

I have the same issue with the MGS pack, can't get the bubbles from Act 1 and I believe one of them is the sticker switch needed to collect everything in Act 4 too.

Haven't had any trouble with the first 3 PotC levels either (or nightmare, or history, or DC, or Marvel, or Incredibles etc...)

Oh thanks for the info, Will have to give this a try was upset I couldn't continue on.

Edit - Well this worked for getting through the first part of Muppets Lab and getting to the level link. However going through the second part not far into it are bounce pads that launch you up and they don't want to work even after avoiding many point/prize bubbles in the area....

Yeah, for the first section so long as you sneak past all the bubbles and don't collect any you can get up above to the timer bouncepad. The only way I found to get that one to work was to have a second player join in. As soon a sthe second player comes in the bouncepad works. From there on out the rest of the levels work.

I don't have a second controller though so I would simply remote play in as player 1 then join in from the controller as a guest player 2 (same way I'm doing all the 2X areas).

Problems though I now have collected every prize from the Muppet pack except 1 that I can't find in the burning theater level (been through it more than 20 times now... grrr.) and the Muppets Lab level won't give me the collected all prizes, prizes even though I have them all.

Also in PotC in act 4 (I think) there is a 2X treasure chest that has a prize bubble in it that seems it can't be collected. Tried it on two runs now and even though I seem to be walking/jumping/flailing right through it, it won't collect. Bummer.

I didn't know remote play worked like that. Guess I only need to buy one more controller to get to 4x.

Remote play takes over control of the PS4 as the primary logged in player so it's usable as a controller (and screen) with any game, but it has to be primary/player 1. When it comes to the 4X levels (PotC has them too) I'll just try to link up with other players. Then again I suppose I could just go buy 2 more DS4's complete those parts and just return them to Best Buy.

Thanks for your tip on having a second player join. Without that and EinRobots tip on skipping bubbles I never would have made it past that point.

I apologize for the rant and the thread hijack I am about to commit and I will fully understand if I get modded:

So I just grabbed my wife's Vita (she had it before we got married) and tried to set up remote play, fully prepared to part with another $60 for a third controller just so I could get through the 4x part of the game. You hear that Sony, SD, Mm? I was actually prepared to part with $60 just to unlock a few more prize bubbles in one game. That's how much control you have over me. (Of course I would use it for other things as well: it'd be nice to have four controllers).

But is that enough control for Sony? Oh no, of course not. They lock the Vita to your PSN account (my wife's account in this case), and you can't use it to remote play on the PS4 unless you're using the same PSN. That's right, there is only one account allowed on the Vita and the only way around that is to remove that account along with all save files and purchased games and essentially set it back to factory so that you can add your own account. To be clear, the PS3 and PS4 both allow multiple accounts with separate PSNs for each (in fact the PS4 requires it: more on that later), but the PS Vita, for no reason I can fathom, does not.

Now usually, despite my stern disapproval, I can actually see where the companies that pull these stunts are coming from and it usually has something to do with prioritizing making money over not screwing their customers but I am completely baffled by this. How does this make them more money? They don't really expect me to go buy another Vita, do they? No, this has actually lost them money: I was willing to buy a third controller but I'm not willing to buy two, so now I'm not even going to buy one. Two controllers is all I'll ever have for my PS4.
