Collectabells, prize collection, and adventures in online multiplayer?

Before I go off experimenting, I thought I'd ask if anybody else here has tested how online multiplayer adventures work with collectabells and prize bubbles. I'm looking for ways to sense different degrees of prior accomplishment when two players get together on a level.

I'm thinking about poppit tweaker objects (like was used in contraption challenges). If player 1 has collected a prize and player 2 has not (player 1 did a prior run without player 2), I think it would appear in player 1's poppit and not player 2, like the sticker tool?

Do collectabells work this way, appearing unless all players already have them, or do they only appear based on whether the lead player has previously collected them or not? (I think the latter unfortunately, based on experiences in story mode, but not sure.)

What about when using a Score Giver, set to Collectabell currency, and giving the collectabells only to the activating player? Can two players then have separate totals and have them correctly recorded between play throughs? Does it matter if the level is set to Competitive? Does it matter if the level is in an adventure or is stand alone?

Does any of this matter if the 2 players are on the same playstation or playing online? I ask because I had thought that all data for all players locally was stored in the same Adventure file but I could be wrong about that too. Yet if so, I wondered how that would affect online players.
