Where is the playstation move DLC?

Archive: 5 posts

I recently bought a move controller, both parts, and remembered LBP had a bunch of cool stuff for it. I remember there being a motion pack DLC or something, but I don't see it in the store. Was this a LBP2 thing and they haven't added it yet or am I missing something? And it does cost money right?2014-12-11 18:19:00

I had bought the move pack a while back when it first came out and it seems to work in LBP3 (haven't played through the whole thing yet). I'm guessing it was pulled from the store to be updated for LBP3. It'll probably come back eventually for sale. You might try and see if you have the movinator, cursor, and brain crane objects in your tools bag in create mode, as it was my understanding those were made available even to people without the pack for LBP2. It was only the level pack you had to pay for, if memory serves because they'd promised prior to LBP2's release that it would be move compatible at launch, but they didn't actually manage it (just that demo level, sackboy's prehistoric moves).

It should be there if you visit the store in the game. I managed to do that and add it to my cart. I owned it prior to LBP3, however the game simply stated that it was free for me without any indication that I may have owned it. Other DLC that I owned previously was at least acknowledged, so I don't know. It may be free for you, it may not.

You will need a PS4 camera though, I believe. Somehow the Pop Boy costume appeared in my popit anyway, and that was the costume I wanted back the most since I used his glasses for my own self-sack. That was just lucky.

No, what they did was give the ability to play Move levels to everyone for free, and put the tools you mentioned that allow creators to make Move-operated levels in the level pack you pay for. The patch containing the Move support did come with the Speed, Rotation and Angle sensors and a bunch of new tweaks on other tools for everyone to use freely without needing to buy the level pack.
