It does matter, in fact. The PS3 version doesn't seem to have support for streaming video from the internet like the PS4 does. You can still watch the tutorials online though, on http://lbp.me/videos/tutorial.

You have to go to the settings and enable them I believe. Not sure what streaming has to do with anything... Edit: Ignore this post, I was thinking of something else.

Because both the level trailers and the extra tutorials are available as video streams on lbp.me, I'm assuming that the PS4 version uses the same mechanism for both. You could test it by trying the PS4 tutorials in game with no network cable. I haven't heard anything about enabling more tutorials on the PS3 version, only more tools, but if you're right you can ignore my response. And tell me how.

As far as I can tell there are only 25 tutorials on the PS3 version. I didn't realise the PS4 players had more, was seriously wondering why there were only 25.

Yep, can confirm as well. PS3 digital edition here. There is a blurb at the bottom of the list that says "go to LBP.me for more tutorials". It's too bad they didn't do a better job of communicating it as the tutorials on lbp.me are quite extensive, but it did take me a day or two to find them.

I'm not sure if the bug is that streaming isn't yet working on PS3, or the bug is that they unintentionally show you the trailer button when browsing levels, and let you pull up the screen to watch a trailer (but then nothing happens). I had hoped trailer watching was coming to PS3, but maybe not?

PS4 shows 186 tutorials when connected online, If I am not connected online it will only show me the default 25 tutorials.

I had hoped trailer watching was coming to PS3, but maybe not? Yeah, trailers don't work for me either but they give you the option of attempting to watch them. I don't really mind if the PS3 version won't be able to do it, but it seems like it should be removed from the user interface if that's the case.
