I want to start by saying that I love LBP. Been with it from the start and not a week has gone by that I haven't booted up my PS3 and spent many hours tinkering and playing. Absolutely love it. 1 and 2. Amazing. Fab. Superb.....etc. So, what on earth has happened to my beloved game? Since purchasing the PS3 digital version, my LBP3 playtime has been beset with problems. I have had to start the game 3 times already, due to sacky not appearing in my pod. Costumes randomly appear on characters. My PS3 keeps locking up as I'm playing..... and many, many more glitches. And the latest bug causes sacky to float at the top of the pod and won't allow me access to certain levels. I cannot use sacky in the pod at all. I now also have one of the objects I created in a level, floating across the top of my pod, obscuring the onscreen joypad. So to play a level I now have to randomly jiggle the left stick and press square in the hope that I am correctly lined up. The fun just keeps coming. Now, while I understand that such a complicated game is bound to have teething troubles, the number of glitches and problems I am experiencing smacks of a game that was rushed to point of sale and not tested enough before release. LBP karting all over again. I am appalled that it's in such bad shape. But that does seem to be the way developers operate now. Release the game as early as possible and sort out any problems at a later date. What a waste of ?40. My beloved game's gone down the pan!

I totally share your frustration... BUT I'm keeping my head up and looking towards patch 1.04 next week, let's hope it's effective. I guess this whole 'unfinished game' deal works out for me anyways, since my Xmas break starts the week the patch comes out. Still disappointing. By the way, I've never heard someone call him 'Sacky' before reading this. Ha, I like it. :blush:

I honestly hope it doesn't get patched. I haven't had any truly gamebreaking bugs yet, except for the sticker bug, but that got fixed really fast anyways. There's some awesome glitches in the game too. I hope those don't get fixed.

Give it some time. You might be happy do do so, but I don't really think it's acceptable to charge me ?40 to play a game that might work properly at some point in the future. When I played LBP3 I seemed to spend more time staring at the "Your PS3 was not shut down correctly" screen than playing the game. Do you really think that this is acceptable? I don't!

LBP & LBP2 both had game-breaking bugs on launch, too. This is just part of the series at this point. Give it some breathing room and a month or two and everything should be ship-shape.
