I'm getting tired of the white loading screen. In LBP1 and 2 the levels loaded while you were in your pod. It's more visually appealing, and interactive if you have players over. Plus, I'm finding myself accidentally entering levels, whereas in LBP1 and 2, I would hit circle to back out quickly before it loaded. And with the long loading times, you get bored and taken out of the game quickly, and if you accidentally entered a level, too bad so sad.

+1. Loading screens are worse than on Skyrim, and Skyrim is known for its notorious loading screens.

Yeah these are annoying. Actually I wish they would also implement the ability to download the levels for offline play just like vita. That way we could just download a bunch of levels while we are doing something else and when they are ready just jump right in...

Huh... I can understand if you were playing a game like Skyrim, that everything you do is one theme and one game, but I don't see how it 'takes you out of the game' if every level is different for LBP. There's nothing to take you out of since the 'game' hasn't even started. 'Game' meaning the level you are about to play. If anything, I'd say that the long loading screens are a hindrance to the time spent playing the game. Like waiting in a line. But maybe the reason why it's the loading screen now is because there's more to load and having people jumping around helps to not take up so many resources? Not sure on that one.

I always got so annoyed when LBP3 selects a level I don't even want to play. I mash circle, but nothing happens. Now, I'm used to not being able to back out of pad loading, even in LBP2.

As a matter of fact, it appears that the level is saved to the hard disk automatically, so why can't Sumo Digital allow us to play the saved levels locally?
