Is there anything I should know about transferring my LBP PS3 data or anything really?

Yes. You will most likely only get 40% of your LBP2 items or around that much. LBP2 Interactive Music will not transfer over. You'll only get Avalonia. Many costumes, items, decorations, and especially materials will be missing. If you have any alt accounts, you're LBP2 data will not be able to transfer because it will see your alt as not having any pins. It uses pins to search your LBP2 data. LBP1 transfer will work fine. You will be missing a stupid amount of DLC Kits. And when they are available, you will have to re-complete them all.

What about my personal stuff? Personal as in stuff you have created in your Goodies Bag? If so, then most of that won't come over either. It depends, I suppose, on what materials you made the object from It appears, in some cases (not tested myself after 1.03) that levels on your moon don't transfer either due to the new moon layout. Best to lock those levels, publish them, and then copy off the Earth to the Moon when on LBP3

What about my personal stuff? Yes. As LittleBigSnooth said, you will lose your levels. All of your costumes, personal items, stickers, pods, and levels will not transfer. You need to lock them in levels. For extra protection, make the sub-levels. Because remember, there's a glitch that allows people in locked levels.

And what glitch is this? Teach me. I myself don't know exactly how the glitch works because I've never done it myself. All I know is that its out there because people have been able to play my locked levels somehow. Maybe I can ask a friend who did it in one of my levels.
