Help if you can please. Im using advanced in and out to make my sackboy jump in a top down level, problem is I end up half way through the floor material? ?
Can you slide up a slide? how do you give separate screens for multiple playets on different tvs?

Firstly, for the Advanced In/Out. Tweak the object by pressing square. Ensure that pushing is toggled off. This will stop the character from repeatedly twitching in and in/out state. Make sure you floor is 1 layer, this is optional but I feel it helps. Make sure your floor is a solid (has collision), this will stop the character from moving through it, if you've used the dephysicalise tool to remove collision add it back. A material such as Sticker Panel and Hologram have no solid surface therefore will allow objects to pass through.

Second, can you slide up a slide? Since you're working with top-down, no. But you can use logic to achieve the effect of doing so.

Lastly, multiple non-local players. Honestly, I cannot remember how this was done. I think it was a trick using Game Cameras or Movie Cameras. If I remember I'll swarm to the forum to inform you of my once-known-but-now-found-again-knowledge!

2. No, but an advanced in/out mover could make it look like you can if you set it up right.

3. Just make it a versus level. In versus levels, online players each get their own screen. Careful though, or you may find your level is incompatible with local multiplayer.

So simple. Yet I still can't remember ever using the method of answer 3. Guess the brain isn't as sharp as it used to be.

For the slide question - can you use some of the white 3D objects for this? If you are clever about it you might be able to make them look like a top-down slope. The issue is they have to be stickered, they can't be changed to a material.

Alternatively you will have to use some sort of analogue sensor/timer so that as the player moves "up" the slide they are moved "out" of the screen in proportion to the ramp's height.

No need to do the decoration thing. The slide can be changed to any material and can be corner edited and stickered any way you like. If you want it to not behave like a slide, dephysicalize it and you're good. Add whatever logic you can come up with simulate the uphill walk.
