I've been working on a level for weeks, and now suddenly, if I add anything to it, my gameplay will slow down to like.. 10fps... this is unacceptable... why the hell did I buy a PS4 if it's going to run worse than the PS3 version? Is the PS4 version being held back because they also made a PS3 version? Do all my PS4 made levels work on the PS3 version of LBP3? If so... what the hell is the point?!

I would say yes that they made the PS4 version weaker to support PS3. It was a money grab. Really now... the PS4 is supposedly 10x more powerful than PS3. You'd think LBP3 would have more power but nooooo. Its limited to PS3 standards. I'm sorry to anyone who owns the PS3 version but LBP3 does not belong on PS3. LBP2 breached the limits of PS3. LBP3 just kills it. I heard Bungie did the same thing with Destiny. Thats another reason why Destiny has so little.

I do agree that if they had only gone with PS4 it would have been far superior, However I think the PS4 version is really good... I say this because I had a bomb on LBP2 that when dropped would cause tons of emitted explosions, would raise the thermo close to max and really slow the PS3 down to a crawl. I decided to port it over to LBP3 on PS4 as I was curious how it would handle it and to my surprise it did really well, Still slowed down a bit but not to the extent of LBP2. Although I guess a true comparison would have to be between PS3 and PS4 versions.

The times I would've been disconnected my PS4 fights back against the unstable servers and I manage to stay where I am. If this were to occur on the PS3, I would most likely lose connection and maybe even log out from PSN as a sherry on the top. After some testing I know for sure that the PS4 handles lag better.
