I thought you had infinite creating capacity in Little Big Planet 3? I'm using the dynamic thermometer but my level still overheats

Infinite Levels means that LBP3 only produces what is visible to the player and deletes it when it's no longer visible. So if you have a dynamically thermometer It doesn't count the whole level, only the actual visible area.

I think there's more to it than that. I have a level that uses just over two notches of thermo with dynamic turned off. When I turn Dynamic on, I get the warning that there are too many objects glued together. The thermo then fills to the top, and the level overheats. Not sure what's going on there.

Objects can't unload if they're attached to loaded objects. You need to separate the parts of your level into disconnected chunks to take advantage of dynamic thermo.

That's the weird thing. All glued together objects are in the same section, and will all be in range of the camera any time they are in use. Maybe the loading range is smaller than my view through the camera? That seems a bit odd.

Are you sure? This applies to objects connected to objects, connected, to objects, connected to objects (you get the idea). I believe in the pause menu there's an option to lock the loading. If you turn it on you can then walk out of range and see what remains loaded. While the dynamic thermometer gives you more options to make a bigger level I think it's less forgiving of complexity within one loading zone than non-dynamic thermo is. Basically, you can make a bigger level with dynamic thermo, but you might be able to have a much bigger connected object in non-dynamic thermo.
