I'm not sure if anyone else is feeling the same way, but I'm really upset right now. And incase you didn't know, there will be a deal of some sort to go buy LBP3 for $20 less. Said by IGN. This baffles me. Its just weird. What a coincidence that after everyone probably bought the game on Nov. 18,now they have a deal to buy it $20 less?? I waited 8 days after release to finally buy LBP3 because I had a feeling something stupid like this would happen. And now me and hundreds or thousands of others bought this incomplete game full price for $60, just so they can release it 2 weeks later for $40!? Was this the price the game was originally supposed to be? It should be this price or less. I'm so upset.. I feel cheated. Never have I seen a brand new game be put on a 33% sale so soon after the release. It's like they knew they were wrong and thats why they reduced the price.. after everyone bought it. Ugh... what do you guys think of this? You can research it if you would like more info.

that happens with every LBP game. and... with all that bugs... and bad reviews... i expected this anyways. let's hope people still buy it. or LBP could get less and less support from sony.

Dude this is nothing new... The same thing happened with LBP Karting (but even cheaper) which totally ticked me off. I feel your pain, don't get me wrong, but this was expected from Sony. You learn their shady patterns after awhile.

Yeah. That was kind of expected. It tends to happen to 'bad' games. In this game's case, 'bad' is all the bugs and issues with it. Since speculating is fun, I would guess that LBP3 might not have sold enough or been popular enough to warrant a constant cost of $60.

Its said that we expect makers of LBP games to pretty much trick us. They got the quick buck, and now they know it probably won't get alot more money, they reduce the price... And they don't even say anything to us. They just release it broken and we buy it.. Like me. I truly regret getting LBP3 at the time I did. I could have 20 extra bucks right now.

I've said this before many times but I've gotten more for my $60 in each LBP game than I've gotten from any 10 other $60 games, so I still consider it to be a phenomenal deal. If I were you, I'd be more worried about what this signifies for the future of LBP than about paying $20 that you had already planned to pay anyway (you got exactly what you paid for: nobody ripped you off). If the game is really doing badly enough that they had to put it on sale this early, that's a bad sign for future releases and for support/dlc in the future. I imagine it's a combination of this being the 3rd game (many of the older creators have moved on), and the bad reviews. Here's hoping this has the effect of increasing sales so we don't wind up with another LBPK. Actually, technically this is the 6th game if you count LBP PSP, LBP Vita, and LBPK so I'm sure the franchise is starting to look tired to some people.

I assume the OP is referring to this: https://twitter.com/IGNDeals/status/539926906011787264 Which was a Cyber Monday deal. That's why it was $20 off... It's also only for the digital version. This happens all the time with online deals. Far from "shady". Dragon Age: Inquisition was also about $20 off for Cyber Monday, so I don't think this is indicative of LBP3 having troubled sales.

That doesn't make me mad, what makes me mad is that other games I still want to buy aren't cutting THEIR price. I thought LBP3 would be worth 60 and was wrong, mistakes only costing you 20 dollars are not the end of the world, I just want some savings for ME.
