Manglewood Hub: 4 frozen bubbles, how to get? [May involve SPOILERS]

| After you've beaten the swamp boss and are poking around, you find on the way out of town, there's a large camera object. You can rocket boost onto it, and then boost again up and left to find 4 prize bubbles suspended in the air. There's some popcorn there too. You can get two of the bubbles with boots, but not the other two. And if you get in the wrong spot in the air you get frozen in place. These probably aren't meant to be gotten this way. ;-) I thought maybe it was related to the four player part, can anybody confirm? I've done that part now, but I didn't do it fast enough to win the race (2 of us juggling 4 contollers lol). I've been afraid to play online for help (have had other profile corrupting issues when doing so), but I'm not sure how to collect all bubbles otherwise. | Or if you're too dense to figure out the illuminator like I was, you can actually rocket into some invisible sticker material that will freeze you in place (aim for the popcorn). Once you're there, you can switch to another powerup and then switch back to the boots and you'll be able to boost again.
