Slanted roofs possible in top down?

| Hi guys just a quick one. I haven't got the game yet, but something I'm really hoping to do is build slanted roofs on a top down level. Is this possible? Maybe by rotating the slides? | In short, yes. Just an ordinary slide in it's normal orientation is effectively half a top-down gable roof already; duplicate it and rotate it 180 degrees, and you've got the whole thing. I think their "height" in top-down (depth in normal view) is limited to multiples of the thick layer depth, but they will work. Also to my knowledge there isn't any way to rotate just anything about all 3 axes, only sack-things and decorations (though this isn't necessary for top-down roofs). | 2014-12-03 23:30:00 Author: MrLongJohn  Posts: 36 |
| Hi Scarface, You can use slides and retexture them, There are also sticker object basic pieces and material objects basic pieces (spheres, tubes, rings, cubes, hexagons, pyramids etc). These can be rotated, recoloured etc. to give pleasing roof effects.
