Sackbot affect on Thermal

Curious if anyone has noticed just how negatively sackbots affect Thermal. Starting with a quarter full on Thermal I added Sackboy in Elven costume, Oddsock in Gryphon and Toggle in Minotuar outfit and I exceeded the Thermal.

Anyone else notice this?

I noticed playing some LBP2 levels that bots also cause more lag in LBP3 than 2.2014-12-03 00:51:00

Yeah, I definitely noticed that. Figured it would be the opposite. But it feels like we can do more but with less room to do so... :/2014-12-03 02:08:00

It was moved because your original post seemed to be promoting more of a discussion instead of asking a specific question (ie How do I lower thermo? etc.) and we move posts to where they fit best to get the most responses for their subject.
I know sometimes it may not make sense to some but it's based on how we have noticed threads get the best member replys over the years.

Sackbots taking up alot of space is one of their trademarks. But the fact that your bots are made with unedited DLC or Story costumes and they take up so much space is quite intriguing... All I do is make bots and one thing I know is that decorations and stickers on a bot is what increases its Thermo value.

If its really like this in LBP3 then... none of my projects may work.

This is weird... I created with multiple bots and full cozzies in the beta without too many issues. do you have dynamic thermo on or off?any other settings that may help us figure this one out? If it's all just basic and plonked down with cozzies, may be worth a bug report to hello@littlebigplanet.com - could be a dlc issue?2014-12-03 17:50:00

Yeah, not using dynamic thermal and the costumes are unedited versions. Very frustrating when I am trying to create a Quest type level. The other thing I noticed with sackbots is that I recieved the "ah, oh this level is getting complicated and all I did was remove the only two sackbots in the level and the message stopped popping up when saving. PS3 user here. I'm not having this problem far as I can tell. 1 problem i did noticed is when switching different bot brains set to act with a different character animation style will create temporary lag when switching over to the next different character animation style, currently the only way to avoid this lag is to stick with a single character animation style on the bot brain and then only use the character animation chip when you want them to do different styles of animation, because the character animation chip does not create lag unlike other way does atm.

I'm on a PS4. The bots have no logic attached to them either. I have yet to do the update. Maybe that will help.2014-12-04 02:41:00
