I have equipped the flashlight and one custom item into my sackpocket multiple times in create mode, I even equipped all of the available items at one point, but whenever I save and then change to play mode, the sackpocket is empty. Is the sackpocket only usable in create mode? Is my game glitching? I have no items available in it whenever I switch to play mode. If somebody could help me out I'd appreciate it.

I think going into play mode makes it blank to recreate a first visit to your level. Try placing a sackpocket pedestal with your powerup then walk over it in play mode

You can also use a Sack Pocket Tweaker. Just use logic to activate it when you enter the level and you can set it to add whatever powerups you want to the players sackpocket.
