LBP staff/PSN moderators?

Archive: 10 posts

Does anyone know of a way to directly contact LBP staff (besides StevenI) or people who directly moderate messages that are reported from PSN?
I've had trouble with someone who tried to take my account, and who still has a crown they stole by impersonating me, yadda yadda yadda, its been over 5 months now and its getting rediculous. I've contacted StevenI more then 40 times at this point, and he pretty much said "later" about a month ago and has yet to even respond to a single message after that. I was wondering does anyone know people who directly moderate messages or someone who can control crowns besides StevenI? I have several messages from the guy who tried to steal my account where if you line them up in order of date its pretty clear whats going on.
I'm aware that there is a playstation forum, but to my knowledge, the moderators on there do not deal with reported messages. Please someone help, this is getting more stupid then it needed to be

It's really more Sony than StevenI or any of the LBP staff. Sony runs the network and content. Should be a way to contact them, but not sure how offhand. Used to, but wow.. that was long ago and probably changed.

Maybe someone here knows or could spend some time doing some googling to dig one up.

Ok, thanks anyway. I'm just going to see if the PSNforummods account person will respond to my question this time

-_- They're making this harder then it has to be. Can't talk too anyone about the stuff I reported apparently, and its not like StevenI is ever going to listen about the stolen crown. I'm just going to see if I can somehow attract StevenI's attention on the playstation blogs, or at the very least some moderators who will gun this topic down. Maybe I can find StevenI's boss, and message him.

If someone has compromised your account then it is so far beyond Steven's control at this point - he has no control over PSNs, as JW says. You really should try contacting SEN directly for help:

SEN: http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/support/home/

playstation support US: https://support.us.playstation.com/app/contact_options/
playstation support EU: http://uk.playstation.com/support/

Contact SEN Support, have these ready:

- Online ID
- Sign-in ID (email address)
- Console serial number
- proof of the compromisation (the pictures of messages etc.)

I really think that if someone has been using your account or impersonating you, you have other problems to deal with right now besides worrying about your crown. I would ensure that your account is safe first, make sure this person is reported, and sort the rest out when that's done.

Appreciate the advice, but I never gave him my sign on information, I changed my password just in case, and his twitter account that he used to impersonate me and confuse StevenI into getting the codes has been taken down (I've reported on twitter as a impersonater, the name has been changed but the account still exists), and to my knowledge the 1st award account has been taken down. Right now, the problem is he basically created a new fake award account, he still has the stolen crown, and of course it annoys me that he still has his account even though he tried to take mine and he admitted the banned account was his.

Sorry, I just reread what I wrote to start with, and it wasn't to clear. Basically he created a twitter account and impersonated me there because I didn't give him my sign on information on PSN. All I know is pieced together from fragments of the lie story he made up to explain the incident, and the evidence. No one has actually even told me anything, so for all I know, this could all be some four month April fools joke which took a little longer then expected to plan.

FWIW...

I have spoken to Steven concerning your issue and he is more than well aware and told me the whole story. The problem is, he is horribly busy concerning the LBP3 patches and addressing all the serious issues with the release and has little time right now to address your particular issue.

Possibly a bit of advice. Please allow him to get back to you rather than inundate him with even more messages. He is doing his best, but bombarding him starts looking like harassment rather than being of any help in solving your issue.

With that, I have no idea when the issue will be resolved, but again there are unfortunately much more pressing matters currently on his plate.

Thanks for telling me, good to hear he hasn't forgotten about it. I get that he's been and will be busy with all the beta stuff, but the reason I've been sending him so many messages is because he hadn't really responded even before there were all the talks of LBP3 and what not, which lead me to believe my problem was just thrown aside. I got angry at him when I didn't get a response for 3 months. and so I decided to make sure there was no way he could possibly miss or ignore the problems that hadn't been dealt with. He only responded to my messages after I sent him four messages in a row, day after day, which lead me to believe if I kept messaging him repeatedly maybe I would remind or annoy him into helping me. Its derp logic, I know, but it worked one time and that was the best bet I thought I had to get him to deal with my problem.2014-12-10 23:47:00

Most welcome. I'm here to help and I promise he has not forgotten.

Just a silly terrible situation that probably could have been easily avoided and so sorry for your frustration. Lets give him some time to help get LBP 3 on track and then we can revisit and see what's up.

So was it a contest or what? I know the rest well by now, but curious how you won.

It was for the SFC1's on Sackinima, a contest to make a trailer for a Playstation exclusive game. I decided to make a Last of Us trailer, a friend told me about the competition and I had already started a set even before I knew what I was going to use it for, lol.2014-12-11 01:09:00
