When using the layers nearest the front the game always freezes... It is also frustrating because the PS4 doesn't allow any way of shutting it down or restarting when a game is active so I have to pull out the power causing the possibility of game corruption or PS4 failure. Anyone else having the same problem?

Anyone else having the same problem? What? Do not do that you'll break the PS4. To close down any application: Press home button Press options button Hit close application.

I know it will... It's the only option I am left with :l No buttons work at all because of the freeze. Then that seems to be the console freezing. When a game crashes, the console sends you to the home screen. I've encountered crashes but not freezes.

I know it will... It's the only option I am left with :l No buttons work at all because of the freeze. Have you tried holding the power button for awhile? Sometimes it can take a bit but normally holding the power button will eventually shut off the console which is a lot safer then pulling the power cord out. Also have you attempted to go into safe mode on PS4 and use the rebuild database option? While it's not guaranteed to help everyone it has helped resolve freezing issues with several of my friends.

I was experiencing freezing as well. Although I was able to reset the ps4 by touching the power button on the PS4 console for about 20 seconds. It will beep several times and then restart. After that it will rebuild the database and scold me for not shutting down properly (like it was my fault!!!) . I soon discovered the freeze I was experiencing only happened when moving the decoration mount to another layer when the camera was zoomed in from a particular angle. I now only move objects in and out to other layers when the camera is looking from the front and not zoomed in super close.
