Ok I made a tutorial because a few people requested it in the other thread. Don't worry it's pretty straightforward and you don't need 2 controllers or people to do it. 1) Go into create mode. It'll make things much easier as if you misplace a sticker or decoration you can just hit the rewond button and try again. 2) Pick your default sackboy colour (I went with beige.) http://i39.tinypic.com/se3ypu.jpg 3) Put a black sticker on your face to cover your mouth. http://i40.tinypic.com/iviome.jpg 4) Equip the following. Head: Raiden hair and helmet (MGS pack) Torso: Metallic Tunic (From Savannah theme) Hands: MotorStorm gloves (Motorstorm costume DLC. You can use leather glover if you don't have it.) Feet: Wellington boots (There are a few you could use. Just sticker them black later.) Legs: Meryl Trousers (MGS pack) Neck: Hero cape (or Red Roman cape.) http://i41.tinypic.com/23k9cur.jpg Of course there are a few options you could go with for the shoes, trousers and hands. Just choose whatever you think looks coolest. Instead of a cape you could have the Nariko or God of War swords if you have them. 5) Put a black ticker the Raiden helmet. Use one huge sticker and it should cover the entire of the helmet and all the hair. Next put one on the chest of the armour and one on each leg. Then finally put one under each arm. http://i39.tinypic.com/34g24ub.jpg 6) Now it's time to decorate. For the helmet I used the Oval Jewel (Jewellery section) and the Sharp Tooth (Characters section). For the torso I used the Golden Sun (Accessories section) and for the legs the Ruby Jewel (Jewellery section) http://i44.tinypic.com/25ewuuf.jpg 7) Still there? NOw for one final, small but important touch. The sword. I used the Long Armour Plate decoration from the MGS pack. You can find it under the accessories section. Just stick it to the side of your leg so it's almost pointing towards the screen. http://i39.tinypic.com/juu71t.jpg ...and voila! you have your Samurai! http://i41.tinypic.com/2wcpr1t.jpg There are alot of variations you could come up with to create your own unique samurai. Different helmet design, like I said earlier try using different gloves, shoes, trousers etc. If I had the Nariko DLC I'd probably use her sword on the back instead of the cape. I also think the Ryu gloves from the Street Fighter DLC would work really well too. That is really cool, probably the best user made costume I've seen so far. But it uses a lot of parts from the costume packs.

Wow I'm surprised so many people don't have the MGS pack. You could use the scarf/hood part instead of the Raiden helmet. Might not look as cool but it still works.

I made it and it is ausome, my variation is; no decorations on the armour, shoulder pads and the dangly bit that protects your dangly bit are painted white, as soon as i find my memory stick i will upload the photo for you guys to see, Thanks!

Awesome tutorial, I managed to make a satisfying Gilgamesh costume using it. Unfortunately I found out that there's a limit to how many stickers and how many decorations you can put on a costume. A very LOW limit which meant I had to prioritize which particular parts I needed more than others.

That looks pretty awesome. Is it based on a character or something? Never heard of Gilgamesh. [EDIT] Nevermind. Just read your sig. The Sev trousers that come with the Killzone costume pack also look pretty awesome on a samurai. Once the Nariko pack is available I imagine the sword would look cool and apparently the Patapon costume comes with as variety of weapons. Could also be very sueful. And yeah the decoration limit is really low. I'm sure it used to be much higher but I guess they limited it to help stop slowdown in multiplayer.

http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Gilgamesh Yeah, it really took me by surprise once I had put in shoulder spikes and noticed that most of the helmet decorations were gone. I think the limit used to be much higher, but then again I didn't really try to make a fancy costume back then.
