I know a lot of you have been asking about paintbrush abilities. Technically, it's been there the whole time and, most likely, will be there at launch. We know you can take snapshots in-game to share with friends or send abuse reports to the mods. We know you can alter the size of the image and what it captures. Say you want red paint... Paste a big sticker with red on it onto a block. Whip out your camera(in-game) and adjust the selection so that you get a small rectangle around only the red part of the sticker. You now have a red sticker. If you drag the picture around while holding the 'paste' button, it'll act like paint. I have no idea if this will crank that thermometer but, there it is. Discuss.

There are at least two videos (that I'm trying to find at the moment) that show pictures being taken in-game and being stamped down as stickers. As soon as I find them, I will post them. ... maybe I'm crazy but, I don't think I'm THAT crazy (yet).

How frustrating. I can't find the videos now. I know there's one video that takes place inside the spacecraft and they're talking about taking snapshots. I remember distinctly that you could select the camera from popit, adjust the size of the capture rectangle, snap the pic and paste it whereever. If anyone else knows where this video is, feel free to post it up. I am starting to think I dreamt it up though . Maybe I been working too hard lately? I need a vacation.

Nope. I remember that being said also. I'll search for the video. The thing that you said that I'm not sure about is that you can do is paste your screen shots in the level. Even if you can't, you could always draw a big red triangle on paper, shoot it with the PS Eye & make a sticker that way. So yes, painting is technically possible.

Sam Protagonist actually said there would not be a paint tool (he said they used to have one but it didn't work too well and they took it out) he suggested taking pics of different colours and saving them as stickers to use as paint like you said

1000101, that sounds like a pretty good idea. We have so many textures to choose from though, as we can see in the videos... I just hope a paint tool will come around sometime in the future. :

sticker are images so it is pretty obvious it would be cranking up the thermometer pretty quick as they said images and screenshots would be more than the shapes cause it would be different ways to save it. I hope there would be alot of material of different colors if you watch that new video of sackzilla the person uses the grass material to make the object look green you could do that for the major coloring with adding minor stickers for fine lines or detail work. In that video the material list looks even longer than before so it probably will have every color in the rainbow.

You can paint in the game, they were showing how they were using a sticker of grass and putting that on, it was just like painting. Also shwoing how they were putting flowers on. It is very similar to painting.

Most of you probably saw the sackvila vid he painted it green like a paint bucket tool from like word or whatever. So there is definitely paint just watch the sackvila trailer again the cut pieces of cardboard were not already painted

So there is definitely paint just watch the sackvila trailer again the cut pieces of cardboard were not already painted In the sackvilla trailer he just changed the material it was made of from cardboard to a green material. Paint was originally in the game, as seen in a picture further up in the thread, I'd like confirmation that it still is...

he changed the color to green by making the material grass instead of cardboard. or cardboard with grass on top of it if that is possible.
