LBP3 Top Down Level Sackbot Lean

Archive: 6 posts

Ok so I am trying to create a top down level with a sackbot. Its already rotated properly, but when turning the sackbot left or right, and not moving, the sackbot leans down as its still affected by gravity. I've tried gravity and animation tweakers and nothing. Any help is appreciated. It is standing on the Z Axis if anyone gets that.2014-11-27 23:19:00

Well you take a sackbot put an antigravity tweaker and make the character rotation for him to stand top down. Then make him follow a controllinator on a peice of hologram or sticker panel.

Z axis is what the depth of the game is

Also adding onto that, you change his rotation by using an animation tweaker if you didn't know.

As for your original question... you disabled sackbot override right? Other than that, I don't know how to fix that :/
I personally never encountered that problem, or maybe I just ignored it.

The sackbot doesn't have a conrollinator on it. Ive tried with it on but same thing. I heard you can tweak "Yes/No Allow head movement" but where is that option?2014-11-28 04:57:00

There isn't much you can do about this sadly. There are alternate methods, like shifting "gravity" as you called it, I call that "level orientation" (Basically how the level is percieved in a 2d basis). You can shift it to where it actually affects it for the sides, and not up and down.

As for getting rid of it entirely, we may have to wait for a patch on that one. :/
