material edges/corner points controllable with logic

i am thinking of an tool that lets you move single or mutliple material edges like the mover would do with the whole material. (or what you can do in create mode with the edge tool but animated with logic in play mode (without powerups and sackboys doing))

image a material shaped like a star, and you can controll the edge points of the star with logic (for example a timer or sequenzer) and the spikes of the stare moves in and out, or even create other spikes. so it looks like an animated star.

so the object animation tweaker can do that allready? or similar? did i missed something?

but as far i know i guess my answer is yeah like a "super" object animation tweaker.

Yeah that would be pretty cool.. we could set white points around an object and tell which corners to reach them. Speed settings on that would be nice, too. I don't see how that would be so hard to pull off either for the physics engine, considering we do it manually already.2014-11-30 06:41:00

Do you mean the bevel of the edge, or the edge itself, like an animated corner editor?
Because the bevel of an edge can be removed, I just don't know if it can be triggered or not.

yeah like an animated corner editor. you could use a timer, sensor or else to make it move.

I'm sure this is possible already. I can't remember if the material tweaker has in input but if you use a broadcasting chip, turning that on and off with create your effect.2014-11-30 19:04:00
