LittleBigPlanet 3: US DLC Issues - Update (26-November-2014)

Hello Everyone

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the US PlayStation Store team were unable to publish all of the missing DLC during yesterday's PlayStation Store update.

They have provided us with a list of the remaining missing DLC and will now be working to upload this content periodically with a goal to get all of the DLC uploaded by December 16th.

This does not include the previously mentioned Level Packs (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=92846-LittleBigPlanet-3-DLC-Issues-Update) that will require some compatibility updates performed on them before we can release them for LittleBigPlanet 3.

For your reference, I have included a list of the currently missing DLC below.
If you encounter any issues with any DLC not listed below or mentioned in the link above, please feel free to send us an email to hello@littlebigplanet.com and we will investigate.

I just played the game for the first time. Looks great, very sharp but I have no patience for this. I have dragon age to keep me busy for now. I was just waiting for the first bug and I added two dlc packs (the only ones availible were muppets and another one) and pressed square to go to the store and the game froze on me. Yessir.

December 16 wow that's a long wait for something that should of been done long ago... Anyways I looked at the list and I see 1 rare Launch week 1 t-shirt but I don't see lbp1 or lbp2 launch t-shirts. Run sackboy run costumes are not on the list.

Hey in LBP3 am I suppose to have all the DLC levels kits open for play still? because i do including the packs that are not suppose to be available for LBP3 right now such as the muppets pack, and some of them including the DC levels are indeed quite broken when i try to play them... even gave me some error messages on some of the levels. *mew

The Garfield minipack and "The Pirates" mini pack (not POTC) along with several "other story" packs,are also missing,they are on my "own" list but when I go to download them it says content not found. (US PS4)

What about the mini packs where you get the materials, objects, stickers and/or decorations (not like The Nighmare Before Christmas and The History Pack). Also you would get stickers with some costume packs such as Killzone, Nathan Drake, Garfield, Gravity Rush, etc.

i purchased "monster kit" from the US PS4 store,
and it gave me the monster costumes in game. text says "level kit" , ps4 tags show "costumes"
looks like that item got mixed up with name and description?

it took the money for it, now it shows for monster costumes and monster kit "purchased"
i never bought monster costumes, and ingame it don*t unlocks the monster kit.
while the game wants me to buy it again, the PSN don*t lets me because it shows purchased.

it was in my download history, but now the level kit disappeared there.
i*m confused.

I sent an email last week, but might as well post it here to be safe. I can't download the FFVII pack either, or the Mass Effect pack. The individual costumes pop up in the store, but it says they're all unavailable for me.

Also, I'm pretty sure I bought the Heavenly Sword minipack, but it's asking me to pay for it. My only guess is that it was part of the Game of the Year version of LBP1 I got. Anyone able to clarify that?

Okay, seriously, what is the deal?
What did the PlayStation Store even add today? Like 5 more costumes?

The biggest upset for me is that I occasionally like to purchase entire packs, but it drives me up a wall when the entire pack is not up to download, but various items from it are. I can't even buy the individual items if I really wanted the costumes that desperately.

Ugh I got my hopes up, Finally spotted the DC Comics Level Pack to download but as soon as I clicked on the first cut-scene level to start playing LBP3 crashed on me, Decided to try once more and got through the first cut-scene but as it tried to load the next level it crashed again.... Sigh and here I thought it was fixed since it was finally on the store for me!

AFAIK the 16th of December is just the date they expect all the DLC to be up on the PSN store. The patch could be released seperately from that. I hear they're finalising the patch now, and then it probably needs to go through Sony QA. Not sure how long that usually takes.

Post patch: bouncepads don't work towards the end of Muppet labs, making it impossible to finish.

Does anybody know how to download level packs you already bought? I have some of them but just like 1/3 of the ones I have in LBP2, for instance, I just can't find the Muppets pack anywere. Maybe a link?

- I don't how he's called again xD (that last one of the competition winner costumes)
- Chinese new year costumes (boy and girl)
- Thanksgiving Hat
- That Mole stuff thingy (limited time)
- Cake Costume
- Solstice
- Space Suit!!
- Santa
- Summer, winter, Halloween and Spring pack (these free seasonal ones)

Also, I played Run Sackboy Run and Unlocked that special T-Shirt, but if I enter the promotion code, it gives me a T-Shirt to a PS3 version of LBP 2 or 3?? So that I cannot get it on LBP3 PS4!

Aaaaalso, I had the LBP 1 GOTYE with History, MGS, Horror and Animal Packs. Will I get them in LBP3 or is it not possible? -_- I don't want to pay again!

And some more. I can say that I cannot download any DLC I downloaded before, except Santa and Sacktue of Liberty

Looks like I now have most of the missing Stories/Creator packs and lots of Season Packs and some Vita cross content.

It looks like all of my Stories Packs are now working. The only ones still showing locked are the Monsters pack and the Toy Story pack. Every other pack (Pirates, MGS, History, Move etc...) are all there and seem to launch.

After re-downloading/purchasing a bunch of missing stuff from the store and re-importing both my LBP 1 & 2 profiles I seem to have gained a bunch of my missing create stuff (not all of it though).

I now have 522 materials in the Pop-it (where before it was 400 something). My sticker section is about 3 times bigger. It takes a full 23 seconds just to scroll through the list and I still have all the creator pack stickers/materials/decos to unlock. My decoration section is definitely bigger, but not by a huge amount.

Getting there. Looking forward to next Tuesday and I'm hoping they finally have the rest by then. And the missing sound categories too.

Yeah I still need Toy Story, Monster and Cross-Controller level packs. Everything else is downloaded and seems to be working fine so far.

Space suit is available directly from the playstation store if it's not popping up in the in-game store.

A lot of content has been popping up and auto adding to the content each time I load up the game which is good. Still locked out of a few packs with it not flagged as purchased.

Got to the end of the muppets pack, and to re-try a level a few times to get to a point where the bounce pads worked, the end boss doesn't seem to have a check point so I only get one life, I guess this will help with trying to ace it though

I had a few questions I was hoping someone could answer please.

1. Do we have to replay the level kit DLC to get all the prizes again? Or after redownloading can we just use the Import from LBP2 thing to bring the DLC over?

2. Is the Move pack one of the things that will be put back up? I noticed all of the DLC not yet made available actually says Unavailable, and even from pod they most show but simply locked, but some do not show at all such as the Move pack and Cross Control pack. I assumed it would show and just say Unavailable until they made it available since they're working on making them available. But those 2 packs are not showing anywhere. EDIT: Nevermind, Move Pack is there, but still no Cross Control which I assume comes next week.

3. Has the day 1 LBP3 launch spacesuit costume gone up yet? I read someone say early this thread that it was available and they were able to download, but I have been checking store every day (from both PS4 home, and from in-game) and still no launch spacesuit.

Finished the Toy Story Pack with no real issues (some of the costumes were looking pretty janky), started to play the Move stuff, in the first section the demo of the brain crane, the fruit the sackbot drops doesn't tip the log properly.

Still... its all seeming to be coming along!

Well, I'm in Germany and here in Europe store I cannot download any of my old DLC...
The only thing I can download is the Santa Costume :I

Does anyone know if the new glitch in the LBP Vita store is related to all the updating?

There's a new DC Level Pack (separate from the Vita version I purchased) that shows as available... It has a different title, different description, but its content and costumes are the same as the regular one.

It's in the in-game store if anyone wants to check it out.

Got the sticker switch for this level but upon trying to get prize bubbles they would either become stuck at the top of the truck and eventually disappear or not give me any prize at all.

So I'm reporting back after replaying some of the DLC levels to collect prizes again, and I noticed numerous things acting up as some people have reported. In example the teeth creatures in the Joker level of the DC kit, and bouncing off their brain to reach a prize bubble doesn't go high enough. But I used techniques like super jump and other things to get them. On top of this they are flipped on different sides.

Of course the reason for these issues in the DLC levels is due to a post I left in the bug report thread (before the DLC was ever put back up for redownload) pointing out how Sackboy does not jump as high in LBP3, and the physics have changed as air movement is less floaty (meaning things now have a more abrupt movement), and momentum is faster. This explains perfectly why some of the things are the way they are in the DLC levels. This makes me worried that some prizes may be inaccessible. Hopefully not.

I am in the same boat man, and I am from the Netherlands. The in-game store is not working (error) and on the PSN I can only see 8 DLCs that have been added in LBP3(I cannot even download the Santa costume, error), so nothing from LBP2/1 as of yet.

Something diffrent: Is it possible to change your language settings/voice over in-game? I bought a copy of LBP3 in the United States so everything is in English and I'm more used to the Dutch version.

Im technically also EU, and I navigated to the space suit on the iOS App and selected it, on the front page it said PS3 but I had the option to download to PS4.

I didn't look at my purchase history, so I don't think it try to re-download, I just searched for 'spacesuit' in the store... got the rare shirt the same way.

The limited time period has been extended until further notice to help out, so there is not too much concern of missing out, just keep an eye out it

I got some of the level pack that are free because the store knows I already got it. I'm afraid to download it and then PS store updates and change everything, leaving me with the buggy level. Should I get it now before the next patch fixes the levels? (I'm guessing the PS3 users are in the same boat as the PS4 with buggy Level packs)

I can't wait for the 16th where the DLC fully up and running. I can grab my LBP2 week 1 shirt, RSBR shirt, Bug Blaster and more.

Here in the UK I only have access to 4 packs so far and 2 of those are broken!

MOVE PACK: Not played

Pirates of the Caribbean pack: Works well apart from some soldiers being on their side or upside down.

Muppets pack: Unable to finish because of broken bounce pads.

Toy Story pack: Unable to finish because of broken bounce pads.

The one I need most is the MGS pack but although it shows I own it I'm unable to download it because the store just says 'no content'.

I hope these problems get fixed for the UK and Europe and not just the US.

Some are saying they're FREE at the moment, ones I've previously bought in the past, but some are still saying I need to pay. I havent had any of the problems accessing DLC packs as most people. I can play.... All but the creator pack I think.

Ok first off i will say that i am on the ps4 lbp3 in the USA
I have noticed that the metal gear solid pack is now ready for download. But there is one problem. Its saying i need to purchase it. I did this years ago.
I know it should be available for free download in the store since my friend is playing in it in the same region.

So what i tried doing is going into a online chat support with sony and it was not very helpful. I was waiting for over an hour just to speak to someone. And on top of that the guy had no clue what i was talking about. He left off saying sorry but i cannot help you. Very frustrating.

So then i emailed steven out of curiosity if this is something broken for some or not. And he did not reply.

So now im left here very annoyed cause i refuse to repay for something i already own . And no one has given me an explanation yet.

Can someone please give me some sort of information that could help me cause i am getting a little annoyed.

What's wrong with this picture? Nothing! There's a huge flat area, and the player can just walk up and down like you'd expect in real life. If anything is wrong, it's that the player can't go further than 16 layers back, but that's where Sumo drew the line, so that's fine.

Also, this doesn't break the level in any way, so what's the problem here? It's an improvement if you ask me.

Also Lbp3 still broken game in Europe since LBP3 servers still failed since cant join also when try to look for levels page keep showing same levels when i look down list.

Sumo screw up big time and no service wont help me and i reply Steven and no reply anyways i really thing should give us free level pack and some costumes to say sorry and if don't fix game im going to file complaining and not happy costumer and i know other people having troubles as well.

Secondly, I suggest you read a bit more carefully before complaining about the developers not meeting deadlines. From the original post:

This does not include the previously mentioned Level Packs that will require some compatibility updates performed on them before we can release them for LittleBigPlanet 3.

As it stands we are lucky any content is transferring at all, many other developers wouldn't bother porting it.

It is very nice they are giving us our stuff yes but it looks like they should have waited to release the game. And you can't compare these developers to others. LBP is based around its dlc more than any game i have ever seen .Without our dlc i have a great feeling many of us would rather just play LBP2.

The thing that can seem very frustrating is when you try to contact sony they know very little of whats going on. Or they just don't wanna say. Id hate to bother steven.
Sony should know something about something we have purchased. But they kinda don't have a clue as to whats going on.

We Just gotta wait , Maybe play another game in the meantime and check back at the store every other day.

Also when they stated the 16th, they didn't mean the exact second it turned into the 16th. Can't say I am surprised people took it as that, but maybe wait til the store updates to fire up the complain train.

I hope you guys in the US get all your DLC today but some help for the rest of us in Europe and UK would be appreciated too.

I rang Sony Network Support UK earlier and they seemed totally unaware of this problem! They asked me to take screenshots on my PS3 download list of all my previously purchased LBP DLC and email them to them so they can 'investigate'. That could take me some time as there are hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds worth of DLC going back 6 years or so. I've only been hearing on the forums about the main packs though anyway. What about all the other packs I'm missing such as Rag Doll kung fu and Vera bee for example?

It seems very strange to me that sumo , a UK based company, would not at least make Sony UK aware of the problems and be trying to sort it out with them. Don't they talk to one another or what?

The DLC issues should be resolved for the US region when their PlayStation Store updates later today.

Saying 'Soon' in regards to the UK/EU store, I assume tomorrow (Wednesdays our store updates) is out of the question? If it was then they would say 'Tomorrow' right.

It's great the US have had the problem fixed and everything, but waiting another week is souring the LBP3 launch even more for me personally.

Are you being sarcastic?

Because 1: This isn't real life, it's a game. And more realistic does not equal better.

2: While it doesn't matter so much on DLC or story levels, it's not ok to have this happen on community levels where many are meant to be played only in a way the creator intended.

And 3: the fact that you can run to any part of the level as long as it's on the floor means yes it's a level breaking bug as it's not intended to allow that.

PS: All they need to do is add a 3 layer only lock option in the global settings. Honestly I don't why there isn't 1 already. But hopefully later there will be.

Because 1: This isn't real life, it's a game. And more realistic does not equal better.

2: While it doesn't matter so much on DLC or story levels, it's not ok to have this happen on community levels where many are meant to be played only in a way the creator intended.

And 3: the fact that you can run to any part of the level as long as it's on the floor means yes it's a level breaking bug as it's not intended to allow that.

PS: All they need to do is add a 3 layer only lock option in the global settings. Honestly I don't why there isn't 1 already. But hopefully later there will be.

No sarcasm. For the record, when I said it doesn't break the level I was talking specifically about the History DLC level. I know it breaks some community levels, but IMHO they were broken all along. More realistic (in the sense of meeting player expectations, not talking about realistic graphics) does usually equal better. If a player is walking across an open meadow and can't continue because there's a big house exactly in the three playable layers when visually it's not an obstruction at all, that's broken. It's bad design, just like an unexplained invisible wall. If I had published a level with a big open space using the layer glitch in LBP2, being allowed to walk there now would be a wish come true, because it improves visual consistency.

People can still put an invisible wall in their level if it really needs one. Thin gas, fits anywhere, no hassle at all. But a sensible creator would examine why walking across an open space would break their level and fix that instead. It just makes for a better experience.

it's nuts to expect creators to go edit all their old levels just so they are fixed on LBP3... and what happens if they don't even own LBP3? They start getting reviews that say 'your level is broken dude' and the creator will be confused... of course this problem goes beyond the layer problem.

Also the house on a open field example is not logical. If the creator built a house and meant it to be a wall for the player to not get past it then that is their intended design regardless if you like it or not.

point is they need to add the 3 layer only option in there and make it the default for old levels. *mew

I'm pretty sure those sharks and bombs in the LBP2 cool pages are intended design as well, but that doesn't make it good design.

You are missing the point and basically saying your tastes are more important then the developers of a game. It doesn't matter if I think invisible walls or whatever are good design or not, what matters to me is how the developers intended their game to be played.

Also how much freedom of movement in a game and how much it should have is a opinion and taste. for example 3D movement games are not better then 2D movement games... And just to say I often like and prefer 2D gameplay best myself, but that doesn't mean I'd call it or 3D better. it's simply different and nothing more or less. *mew

And just because some random person shares your opinion on how games should be made doesn't make your point any more correct or incorrect.

:/ well we did get some more dlc costumes back in the USA . But How many you wonder? Well they gave maybe a little over 10 costumes back. Still missing a lot!!. And really my concern is more about the level packs. And how broken they are. And how they say i need to buy them again.

The new frozen stuff looks nice but i refuse to spend money until they give me back everything i own. Kinda insulting........ we live in a twisted lbp world right now.

I have noticed that the metal gear solid pack is now ready for download. But there is one problem. Its saying i need to purchase it.

Can someone please give me some sort of information that could help me cause i am getting a little annoyed.

I rang Sony Network Support UK earlier and they seemed totally unaware of this problem! They asked me to take screenshots on my PS3 download list of all my previously purchased LBP DLC and email them to them so they can 'investigate'. That could take me some time as there are hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds worth of DLC going back 6 years or so. I've only been hearing on the forums about the main packs though anyway. What about all the other packs I'm missing such as Rag Doll kung fu and Vera bee for example?

It seems very strange to me that sumo , a UK based company, would not at least make Sony UK aware of the problems and be trying to sort it out with them. Don't they talk to one another or what?

Ok thanks and yes I am in the US region, Thought I would also point this out which I found to be odd in regards to the Monster Kit.

On the Store it shows I did download the Monster Kit (Tho it also says "Costume" which is weird) but the Spring Seasonal Creator Kit says Costume on it as well yet it works fine.... Anyways so it would seem as though I should have access to the Monster Kit Level but on the in-game store I can't add to cart as that has a line through it. Under More Stories it's Locked and on the info page it says "Purchased, Waiting To Be Installed" however I get the No Content Found error if I click the download button.

Totally agree. But if you're going to limit movement, in most cases it should be visible, consistent, make sense in some way.

It doesn't matter if I think invisible walls or whatever are good design or not, what matters to me is how the developers intended their game to be played.

So what is the intent behind invisible walls? Are these levels all about wandering confused in a strange world where invisible walls might unexpectedly block your passage at every corner? Of course not. The designer's intent is to prevent players from going somewhere, but using an invisible wall is an unintuitive, immersion-breaking way to achieve it.

Also, the PS4 add-on browser (the one you access from the game icon) keeps scrolling over the same costumes. I'm not sure if some are listed twice or what, but it makes it hard to sort through them.

Somehow I think the issue of being asked to pay again for DLC is not a LBP3 issue but due to the fact that PS Store is failing to recognize that you purchased them. Happened to me, when I logged onto PS Store on my PC and PS3 it also dosen't say these DLCs are purchased like it should even though they are still in my downloads list. I contacted the UK PS Store team for help but I'm keeping my fingers crossed because Sony has a history of not replying me.

Recently I've spent days working on a level only to suddenly have the game prevent me from editing it because out of the blue it says I need the History Kit (Only vanilla LBP3 & Pirates of the Caribbean items are used in it), a DLC that I owned but is asked to pay for again, so I need them more than ever now. I'm a little saddened also that us lot in the UK are getting everything late in a UK made game. I'm thankful for the team hard at work to resolve these issues, but as of now I'm not enjoying the game on my PS4 as much as I could've.

Your list is pretty close to correct. Some are hard to say are missing though cause a couple of those i have but they were purchased in a full pack instead of individuals. Which there is a lot of single that say unavailable still.

In regards to buying DLC right now... I will also be holding off. I bought the Dragon Age DLC and they are nowhere to be seen in LBP3 on PS4, I have no luck trying to re-download them directly from PSN either.

Especially considering that I'm locked out if DLC that is meant to be working, pretty much all the DC stuff says I don't own it and have to re-purchase.

...But that isn't the problem, though. Specifically in the case of the history pack, the level was designed around the constraints of LBP1, so it would make sense for these same constraints to be applied in LBP3 - that's sort of what backwards compatibility is, anyway. If the player is able to escape that, in this case because of the additional layers, that doesn't somehow make the design of the level any better. That oversight doesn't impact on the level design at all, in fact - it isn't a conscious design decision.
The fact of the matter is that the player is not meant to go into those extra layers because they weren't a consideration that had to be made when the level was first created. I honestly fail to see how allowing players to circumvent this is an improvement.

The History pack is better with 16 layers. For us it doesn't really matter that much, but imagine LBP3 is your first contact with the series and the first DLC you buy is the History pack. You're gonna expect to be able to hop into the back layers, you're used to it. Of course this means you can walk behind the buildings, but that doesn't break anything. It will seem normal. But if there was an invisible wall keeping you in the front 3 layers, now that would be weird!

LBP3 has bigger problems, and since this is one of the few problems creators can fix themselves, I'd rather see Sumo put their efforts elsewhere. Especially since there are better solutions to this problem than an invisible wall.

I just went to check my Ps store recent downloads in my computer to see and you know what i noticed. Its saying i downloaded stuff that i don't think i did. Like the mgs lvl pack. Solid snake, The white knight, The skier, the pirates costume pack...ect. Now if i check my playstation store for new add-ons. It has a price next to a few of these like I don't have some of these and its saying i recently downloaded some of this stuff.? I'm really confused.

I don't have this stuff. My store is lying to me. haha Oh god this is a real mess

Is there more old DLC coming that will be put back up, or is the store bugging? I ask because the Toy Story level kit is still not up, and neither is the Monster level kit, as well as some of the costume packs like the Disney Princess pack 1 (only 2 is up). Too many packs to list, though I saw some people have listed them. I thought they were all suppose to be up by the 16th. Technically I'm trying to figure out if the store is bugging for me or if they actually still have more to release?

On top of this are they planning to fix the issue where certain DLC you already own are asking you to pay for them instead of saying Free like they should? There are also still packs that say Unavailable like the Knights of Old costume pack.

EDIT: Okay, Disney Princess Pack 1 is up. Must of came out today.

I believe todays DLC fix was just to fix peoples packs that were asking them to pay again and to add some missing stuff to the store. Sounds like it hasn't all been fixed though. I can't check myself as I already re-bought all my DLC the day the game launched (the monsters pack I've now paid 3 times for... oops)

The story packs (Toy Story, Monsters) are a separate issue that they already said will be fixed as they make them compatible. I don't believe they gave an ETA. Even the story packs that are up are bugged though and still need to be fixed.

There isn't a Soccer Fan Costume Pack 8, they only made 7 (unless you mean the Asset Pack (https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/littlebigplanet-3-soccer-asset-pack/cid=UP9000-CUSA00473_00-LBPDLCLBPCUPCP01)). And, yeah, just noticed the Weekend Pursuits pack was missing. As for Jon Burgerman and History packs, not sure why it's forcing you to pay, both showed up as free for me. Out of curiosity, did you get the History pack through buying it or the LBP1 GotY edition?

There is a Soccer Fan costume pack 8. It includes the Korea, Russia, Belgium, Algeria costumes, which I do not have at the moment despite downloading packs 1-7. Also, I did not get the history pack through the GoTY edition. All of my DLC was purchased through the store. Jon Burgerman isn't even listed on my PS Store, I can only see it on the website, where it costs $1.99. This whole situation is such a mess, I mean look how much (on my list above) is still missing!

Yeah your list pretty much exactly like the one I just made with the exception of the Santa Beard is missing with the Santa Hat. Besides that its pretty much the same for me. Now the Incorrect Charging list is the same for me except for the "Monster Kit" It was free for me and I was not charged for it even though I download it and still I can't play it.

Monster kit was free for you? I re-bought it on the 18th and then accidentally re-bought it again a couple days ago when it popped back up on the store for me again. I've paid for it 3 times now and it still can't play it.

What about missing materials, decorations, objects and stickers from LBP1 & 2? Did anyone notice if they now have more of those that were missing from before?That is a separate issue. You'll most likely see more LBP1/2 story items unlock after the next patch (hopefully out later this week)

It doesn't look like it to me. Anyone have a complete LBP2 item list so we can compare?

Im waiting till the next patch is brought up because Steven said that the last patch got "most" of those missing items back and next patch will get the rest that are still missing. Then when that patch is through I plan to have Lbp3 on one tv and LBP2 on my other tv and see if all the materials decorations, objects and stickers are all there.

Those were all added in the 1.03 update, try running your Unlock LBP2 content again from the start menu.

You might want to back up your Adventure Save file before you re-run the import option. I re-ran mine yesterday and it re-set all my single player progress, thankfully I had an (older) PSPlus backup.

From the PS4 main menu, go to Settings -> Application Saved Data Management -> Saved Data in System Storage -> LittleBigPlanet 3. Here will be a save for your Profile, Adventure Save, Popit Puzzle Save, and any levels you backed up. You can move these to your PS+ cloud or an external drive.

I've sent an update to the US PlayStation Store team on items that have been reported as still being an issue in the US regions.
We're nearly there though and hopefully we can wrap up this issue in the US regions soon.

We're also liaising with the European and Japanese PS Store teams for an update regarding LittleBigPlanet DLC in those regions too.

If you're still missing content that you previously purchased, by all means please post here telling me which country you're from and what content you're still missing and I'll make sure that the appropriate PS Store team looks into it for you.

I second the thing with the Move pack. I don't mind replaying DLC to get the prizes over again, but it's a double insult expecting people to buy the expensive PS4 camera just to get stuff that is already ours. If someone were to file a lawsuit about that, they would win against Sony for sure, assuming they didn't have any plan to remedy that and get people the stuff they payed for. Not that I'm implying I would do that. Just saying if someone did. I wish there was a way Sony could release an update allowing the PS4 to only read the PS3 camera for specific situations like this. I know this probably won't happen as I doubt Sony will go through that work for 1 DLC issue for 1 game.

Maybe Sumo can release a newer version of the Move pack allowing it to be done without the Move controller, but then that would ruin the point of it being the Move pack so I know that wouldn't happen. I'm stumped for how Sumo and Sony plan to solve this one.

You would be surprised. This is not even anywhere close to the ridiculous things people have sued for. And actually yes someone holds that obligation because it is something people have payed for, so being denied it is would not bide well. Now if LBP3 was a game where the developers did not say all of your old LBP 1 and 2 stuff could be used in 3 including DLC, like starting new, then that would be a different story. But since they said all of your old prizes and DLC you bought could be used in LBP3, either Sony or Sumo, has that obligation now. For me it's not a huge big deal. Suing over a $5 pack is ridiculous. I'm just saying if Sony or Sumo announced they were not going to do anything so that the Move pack prizes could be carried over or obtained without buying another camera, someone would have a legit legal case if they wanted to.

It would be sad if someone actually did that over a $5 pack, as regardless I am someone that can appreciate the effort they are doing to make things right even if it comes down to a pack or 2 not being possible without buying extra stuff, even though you shouldn't have to.

I'm fairly certain that they never specifically said you wouldn't have to replay the DLC to acquire the prizes. They promised that LBP1 and LBP2 goodies would transfer and that you'd have access to your DLC, not that DLC goodies would transfer. And you are not being denied access to it either, you can either buy the required hardware or find a friend who has it, the same as it was on LBP2. Either way, we are getting way off topic; if you'd like to continue this discussion I suggest we branch out to a new thread or take it to PMs.

I am, and propably will always be, a random anonymous Sackthing in the Imagisphere. But I must address any cm or dev who reads this with a heavy heart.

I, but propably hundreds or thousands more, are pressing Options to see if there is an 1.04 update to alleviate this frustration. More than twice a day we are checking if the things you promised and should have been ready, are present: our content from lbp1&2 and the dlc we bought. It is the 18th, with apparently little or no communication about this update since the day you should've told us: It's gonna take a little longer, but you will be getting this and this and this, but not that and that.

The jumppads in the packs we did get (pirates, toy story, muppets) don't work properly, I'm missing content such as the avalonia backgground and costume pieces I believe. Plus all the stuff described above. Most packs require payment (dc comics, incredibles, marvel). I managed to complete the game after 1 corrupt profile issue. Ps4, EU.

Must add: the game that's there, is great. Wonder if the missing parts will soon be brought in.

Maybe Sumo can release a newer version of the Move pack allowing it to be done without the Move controller, but then that would ruin the point of it being the Move pack so I know that wouldn't happen. I'm stumped for how Sumo and Sony plan to solve this one.

Should be feasible to make it work without a camera. In my experience, the controls are based on the angle sensors in the Move, not on the position of the glowing orb in the camera. Would make using it a lot less trouble, too.

Without the orb, MOVE would be no more accurate than the Wiimote. It's essential for closer to 1:1 movement and determining how far you are from the TV.

Your options are find a friend with one. or buy a camera. That simple. Camera is totally worth the money. Way better than ps3 camera. and more things can be done with it.
Good luck with this convo. I would be amazed if Sumo fixed the move pack without the camera. haha you guys are crazy. They have plenty of other things to fix with their time before even considering the thought.

You can always try and find a used one at gamestop. Beat the pack and return it, since its used and get your money back. I think this is what im going to do with the vita, cross controller pack. I need that stuff again and i don't know many people with the vita.....

Note: dont get your camera yet for the move pack yet anyways. Its broken at the moment. You will get as far as the first level.

(All I know so far, I may be missing more but I haven't noticed any others missing)

DLC's being charged for:
1. Move Pack
2. Toy Story Level Pack
3. Toy Story Costume Pack (Buzz Lightyear, Slinky Dog, Hamm, and Rex Costumes)
4. Even More Animals Costume Pack
5. Cats Costume Pack
6. Dogs Costume Pack

And that's all I know, I may be missing more, but hopefully this DLC crisis will be done with shortly...

I second the thing with the Move pack. I don't mind replaying DLC to get the prizes over again, but it's a double insult expecting people to buy the expensive PS4 camera just to get stuff that is already ours. If someone were to file a lawsuit about that, they would win against Sony for sure, assuming they didn't have any plan to remedy that and get people the stuff they payed for. Not that I'm implying I would do that. Just saying if someone did. I wish there was a way Sony could release an update allowing the PS4 to only read the PS3 camera for specific situations like this. I know this probably won't happen as I doubt Sony will go through that work for 1 DLC issue for 1 game.

I'd like it if they gave us the option of time-saver packs for all the games and DLC.

However, it isn't Sony's, MM's or Sumo' s fault if someone changed systems, changed PSN ID's, sold off their camera or got rid of their Vita. Especially since if someone owned that content already, they already knowingly and willingly gave up access to it the moment they got rid of the hardware it requires to run. That was their choice to do and Sumo certainly doesn't owe them anything for no longer having it.

It would be cool of Sumo to make it available in some way to those people, but they absolutely aren't entitled to anything.

The camera is only $39.99 brand new at Best Buy. I picked one up a couple days ago. A used one at Gamestop is more expensive.

And the bounce pads are broken in the move pack, but you can join in a second player guest to get past those parts (also works on DC, same with, Muppets etc...). It's even easier with the move pack because you can play two players by yourself and simply carry player 2 through the level with the brain crane and collect all the 2X prizes as you go. I finished the pack the day it started working. Don't have 100% on it yet though.

Not sure what happened, because I posted on this thread and now my post is gone. I was asking if this issue is still being worked on or not, because I'm still missing some DLC. The Spacesuit, the Birthday Cake costume, etc. And I own the Monster Kit, but it's asking me to pay $3.99 for it. Can anyone please tell me if they're still working on the missing DLC issue or not? Any info at all would be helpful, thanks.

I can confirm God of War and Heavenly Sword dlcs are now fixed, and says free to download if you purchased it pre-lbp3

So I've started getting back into LBP 3 since this site came back. Just curious if anyone still having DLC problems for the US and other versions? I have the Asia version (Chinese/English) and the store still wants me to rebuy a lot of DLC, such as the DC comics and the move pack. I've contacted the Asian PS store, but I don't think they know how LBP works because they told me I would have to rebuy those items even though they are in my download list. They seem to think there are different versions of add on content for LBP 2 and LBP 3.

Why? Cuz the store always gives me an error of sorts stating 'there is no content'. Heck i can't even see anything load properly in the store unless i have bullet proof internet connection. Thx a lot Sumo Digital you peace of ****!
