| One big problem with all 3 LBP games is that when you have some local players and you try to find levels that say 2-4 players, but it turns out that the level is made for online multiplayer instead of local so the players are so far apart that everyone but player 1 dies. | I'm of two minds about this. I prefer to make levels as accessible as possible so I'm not a big fan of "1p only" levels and things like that. I consider it a failure on my part that my most popular level is one where I failed to take local mp into account. What I would like even more would some way to detect local multiplayer and adjust for it. If my versus level has spawn points too far apart for a local mp, I would like to be able to detect which players are on the same system and spawn them close enough together that they don't die. But yeah, since that's not likely, your suggestion is a good one, though Sony seems to be working on getting rid of local multiplayer by forcing all users to log in.
