Hi, I don't own LBP3 yet but I'm drawing up level ideas in anticipation for it and I have a question. What options are there to hide or conceal bounce pads? So for example, a player walks along a path and suddenly gets launched upwards by a bounce pad, even though it doesn't look like there is one, or hits a wall and gets forced backwards. I know there are ways to conceal pistons to launch players, but I'd prefer if it was done with bounce pads so I can program bounce height etc much easier. Any suggestions?

Well one idea I know works is placeing a bounce pad and put an opacity tweaker on it and set the opacity to 0, then the bounce pad will be completely invisible!

Not only can you make them invisible like previously said but it has an output to trigger things when bounced on as well as disabling the bounce pad noise

Thanks! I had no idea you could tweak object visibility. This should definitely help with my designs. I can't wait until Friday when I can finally get the game and play with all the new features myself.

In addition, you could ad a tweaker to a second piece of material so it is dematerialized (no collisions) and place it over the bounce pad.

Really? You can do that!? That's excellent! I can use that to make custom bounce pads for my levels.
