Terrible Bug with Progress Boards

| I have found a serious bug with progress boards (or at least the ones in Story Mode) where if you leave the level during the progress board animations, but before the "Which Wins You..." screen appears, you are not awarded the prizes. However, the level thinks you have completed the level (and/or aced it, 100%ed it), so replaying the level and waiting through the animations will not give you the prizes. This is a big issue for two reasons: Obviously, you will not have as many tools to work with. Since I'm partly OCD, I obsess over having every single tool at my disposal, and when I can never get certain prizes, I get annoyed. In levels with optional sticker switches to get prizes, the sticker needed to activate the switch is almost always one of the prizes for completing the level. Because of the bug, if you skip the progress board, you can never access these sticker switches. This adds to the number of tools I lack and can never get, flaring my OCD again. This does not seem to be an issue with regular scoreboards, so at least I have those prizes. I hope this will be fixed in an update, giving players their deserved awards in all the levels they have completed (or aced or 100%ed). | 2014-11-24 17:23:00 Author: L1N3R1D3R  Posts: 13447 |
| This actually has nothing to do with when you leave the screen. I had this same issue with not receiving my sticker switches and background prizes, and then someone tipped me off to the fix. You need to go into your settings and Turn ON "Collect Community Prizes". Yup, apparently these guys consider Story Mode rewards community prizes. -_- The really frustrating part is now you have to go and replay all the levels with those rewards in them.
