Is the costume you use, I had many problems, many glitches happening to me as the other characters but never as sackboy- I always left sackboy as the default costume, and noticed the only time I had a glitch is in the Ziggurat- when I had a costume on sackboy (I took it off because default sackboy costume is my favorite) and went back in, and had no glitches. The only thing continuing to glitch for me was the characters (I had edited them), so I removed the costumes and had less- almost no glitches. Just something I noticed.

oh good someone else tried it, good now i don't look dumb- I had also thought maybe it was the importing of LBP 1 and 2 items, because I had no glitches, but I have been playing today and noticed that even with no costume, still no glitches, so it may glitch harder with a LBP 1 or 2 costume on, but that is just a theory, I don't like any costumes anyway, I like the default sackboy costume the best.

I've played most of the story mode using no costumes and have experienced very few bugs (and no game breakers). So I can at least support this theory. I've not tried playing them with costumes on (and now I really don't wish to).

the only sack I changed costumes with was Oddsock (to the Pug of course) and the only glitches I have had were with Oddsock... And Steve just posted that the DLC packs need to be updated to be compatible with LBP3... HMMMMMMM Looks like one of the major problems is with DLC and customization options themselves!

yeah, it's unfortunate but you can get all the prize bubbles waiting for an update at least. I'm getting close but the multiplayer bubbles are always a hassle, none of my friends like LBP (can you imagine!?)

I think personally i'd sooner prefer to eat a bag of moldy bread and punch myself in the gut then i would play the game as a imo boring ugly default sackperson. =P Also i haven't ran into many crazy game breaking bugs that effects the gameplay personally.

no way the default sackperson rules Hey you can like what you want, but i'm just saying. And I'm a artist, character creator and story maker, so obviously i'll always prefer and support creativity and different fun flashy character concepts... especially in a game that's main focus is about creating your own world. PS: And to me nothing is more fun then playing as my own characters or other characters i like, which obviously is something i prefer and is just honestly more interesting imo.

Huh. I actually played the whole story mode while wearing a costume I had made in LBP2 a whiles back. The only real glitch I came across was a slight lag in barely any levels, maybe 2-3, and some cut-offs on the voice, but that was only really in one level; Oddsock's level with Marlon Random. but when I went back and gave a costume to Toggle, that's when bugs started actually popping up. Mostly things to do with costumes, like Oddsock and Toggle changing clothes, then Sackboy going back to his default look when cutscenes popped up.

I never did, until I changed costumes for toggle, I made them look like monkeys and then the game started to mess up, so then I used costumes on sackboy and experience some of the glitching I was reading about. I have been replaying (trying to get prize bubbles) and noticing that glitches will occur on your game without any costume if your other character (even if you're playing as sackboy at the time) is wearing a costume. so I just use default everything, it's bad for the game to be messed up at all, but at least I can get all the stuff.

I played through the entire story mode with just the Week 1 shirt on all my characters without any bugs, however my profile then corrupt meaning I had to play it all again anyway Numerous problems after the first profile corrupt, and that was with totally regular Sackboy, so I am not sure. However, nice find either way

I think it's easy to pinpoint something like costumes as the problem, because most people tend to use costumes. However correlation, doesn't equate to causation and It would be difficult to discern if costumes are the strongest predictor of glitches. Personally I've had the level-breaking glitches, with and without costumes on.

I had no game breaking glitches both times I played through the Adventure Mode, except for the Even Bosses Wear Hats Sometimes... Little Toggle glitch, but that was fixed by resetting the costume twice.

no I don't think so, I've never really been able to connect with others, the game has remained somewhat broken since it's release, I don't even hold out hope anymore. LBP3 wasn't nearly as big of a sale as LBP2 was, I feel like people knew this was going to happen and I just wasn't one of them.. bogus, sumo is bogus.

Well there's not much we can really do about it aside from waiting for Sumo to fix all the bugs. I'm guessing the game should be stable by update 1.08 or 1.09.

yeah but, games can be patched and changed more when they're new, it seems like the longer it gets from release- the less the patches seem to fix. 3 months later- I should be able to play online, for even just 20 minutes. Now you can find the game for 30 dollars, should have waited.
