I'm using Photoshop CS3 at work...shhhhh don't tell the boss.

I don't have any experience doing sigs. This is the first forum I've actually belonged to so I'm sort of learning as I go here. I just try to make mine look good. Breaks the monotony of doing client work all day. lol

That's still pretty cool! I design advertising all day so doing something fun or cute is so much better. The advantage is I get the really cool computer in the office with the pro-software package.... perk of the job.

I make pretty much everything on Powerpoint. Hardly any of my sigs are made on GIMP. My current Killzone sig was entirely made on Powerpoint though.2009-02-28 17:57:00

I use Corel Photo-Paint 12. No one uses it cause it's retarded expensive... but I got a license through a college so it's free! WOoo hooo. It is way over powered, and has a billion tricks - some day I'll add fonts and brushes, but I haven't needed them yet, still playing with the effects.2009-03-03 21:54:00

I started out on GIMP, then saved my pennies and bought Photoshop. I do highly recommend it, as it's brilliant - but GIMP is just as good for getting started.2009-03-04 09:14:00

I've never even heard of GIMP. I use Adobe CS - Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.

You could be naughty and Limewire it - but they are hefty packages, you'll need a lively processor.

My dad bought it for me so I use it aswell. I find it's easier and cleaner than Photoshop.

I use Inkscape (http://www.inkscape.org/) vector graphics illustrator. It's pretty good and VERY easy to use. I used it to create my avatar and sig.
I also made this picture of my amp in LESS THAN AN HOUR:

I also use gimp to make it a PNG file.
