Using a central hub for an adventure?

What is the logic involved to use a level as a hub and from that hub have say 3 level links and once you complete said level link it returns you back to the hub level to where it knows you completed the task? I'm sure memerisors are involved but at what degree and how?2014-11-21 21:49:00

Have tour looked at the Tutorials list?

There is a built in tool, just for this job.

Its under the ADVENTURING heading and the tutorial is called ADVENTURE MAP.

You really need to look at all the tutorials. There's a ton of great info here.

I've gone through that tutorial. I don't think it touches upon fully what I'm looking to do. But, I'll run through it again.2014-11-22 06:12:00

The story mode uses Quest Sensors to detect if you've completed a task/quest, Memorisers are't used.

In the central hub the player activates the Quest using a Quest Chip, then they go through the level link. Then when they complete that linked level the Quest is set to "Completed" (using a Quest Chip) and the player returns to the hub. When they return to the hub a Quest Sensor detects if that Quest has been completed. Quests can be detected across all the levels within the Adventure Map.

Also, you have to name your level links so that when you return to the hub you spawn at the correct level link.

I would try setting it up with empty levels first, just to check your quest logic and level links are working correctly. It may seem really complicated at first, but once you get used to working with quests and level links then it will become much easier.
