EDIT: Just posted today LBP.ME now has the rest of the videos so no reason to continue this project. Glad they updated now when I am only 12 videos in. Project may or may not continue because of this.

Still check out my channel as I will have plenty of other LBP3 videos soon.

Perhaps I should create a separate section for this is my Directory. Are you definitely going to finish all of them and KEEP them up?2014-11-20 21:41:00

Yes I have another 15 recorded already just not prepped. Hope to finish many more during next week since I have all week off. I will even try to due the non-video interactive ones.

Ok, I'll make another section and put them there. Any particular order, or doesn't it matter? Where would folks want them? After useful links, after featured tutorials or after general tutorials?

Doesn't LBP.me have all In-Game Tutorials on the Videos page under "Official Tutorials" already?

They're not here though. There's nothing wrong with giving people direct access to them here and I will be linking to my directory and LBPCentral constantly in the future.

Yeah I only counted 12. If they add the rest this project may be moot but until then I will go head with it.

As far as the order of the videos I am starting with basic section and working my way down. I do not plan to do the How To Play videos as my channel is more about the create side of LBP. At the end of the descriptions I did place the numerical video order but they are alf self dependent and do not need to be watched in a particular order.

Just keep them coming. I'll decide the order at a later date. Any idea how many there are exactly?

Looks to be around 129 videos. My Sack hands are going to be tired after this project. Just finished the 6th video. That completes the Basic section. 123 more to go.

I will post more LBP3 videos of course but should I continue with the in game official tutorials now that LBP.ME has them? The main reason I was doing it because as of yesterday LBP.ME only had 25 videos and no word if they would ever have any more than that.

Yes, continue posting them. This is a Directory to give people ONE source to find everything. Please let me know for certain if you intend to upload them all because there's no point in me starting a section that isn't complete.

Sure I don't mind finishing what I started.

It just means we have the most comprehensive tutorials here on LBPCentral, all brought together in one convenient directory.

Thank you. I shall now continue!

Could you do me a favour and post a link to any new ones you post because it's going to get quite complicated finding which ones I have and which ones I don't. You're probably better off posting them in my Directory thread but it's up to you.

*sigh*???

In the video description and the original post before the edit when I decided to maybe not finish putting these in youtube since LBP.ME finally caught up with putting the rest of the videos online mention that these are the ingame tutorials. I will have custom tiutorials soon to but that is not what this post is about.

When first starting this post LBP.ME had only 25 videos out of 154. Also you could not watch the video and create along with them in-game. This was one of the main reasons to do this. Th other reason was to have a method to watch tutorials when away from your console. For example bored at work. Now that LBP.ME has the rest of the videos the project may not continue or it may just because I get bored. Since half my DLC content is not importing in LBP3 currently I may just take the free time to do this instead of create. Once I have my full DLC packs I plan on doing some more custom videos.

*sigh

Thanks for your efforts blastroid!

There is definitely a need for more detailed tutorials than the official ones. They do a nice job of illustrating basic use of nearly everything, but more advanced gadgets have some pretty advanced tweaks that could use further some explaining. (For example, I still don't know what the new tag color choice of "owned by sackboy" means...)

I will try and put some more tutorials online. More of my own than the official games ones. I might do one with the "owned by" and some other new features where the official videos don;t cover or do not cover in details.

This post has a discussion of "owned by": https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=93153-New-twists-on-old-logic-components

Also don't forget to check out the rest of my YouTube channel. Just finished a 2 hour long tutorial on a top down level design.

Unfortunately that post doesn't ultimately seem to explain it. I'm wondering if it is an artifact of an incomplete or discarded feature. So many things in LBP3 seem a bit underbaked as of v1.02.

I also looked everywhere for a connection to a tag "Owned By Sackboy" and nada. I think you are right it is a left over that was not removed before launch. Nothing mentioned about the setting at all in the LBP3 book logic section and it has a list of all options (that one not included).
