Any veteran LBP player has asked for help with a x2,x3, or x4 section of a Level. They were simple and hardly a hassle getting friends to take care of them But these levels take things WAY too far. So bad I Could see scorn and negativity if this trend continues (And maybe even spam that can rival the H4H and P4P days of LBP yore). Now here's why it gets ugly. The Special Multiplayer levels all have Ace prizes and the Special x4 Level also has a Quest where you must complete the level before the race timer runs out. The same rules still apply like in the past, if your partner dies you cant get the Ace NO progress is saved (except collected prize bubbles) if you aren't the leader, this includes Acing and Quests. I really don't think this is a bug. It feels intentional to prevent issues with the different progress of the players Which means after all that time and hard work in a lag induced multiplayer level you did acing with your leader partner, you wont get the Ace or any progress toward your trophies, quest prizes or whatever. Online connection issues are the least of the problems since that can get fixed as previous launch console LBP titles have shown. Not a lot of people are going to go out of their way to help for no progress to get it done themselves (And the ones that do have it done will be very slim). So the answer would be just keep searching for people to find that perfect partner or partners right? There are a number of ways to get help: fansites or your lifelong buddy from your friends list. But what about the average joe or the new players? In the past they usually just waited in the level for someone to join or used dive in. Well guess what? Dive In is gone and most levels are linked to one another in the adventure map so that means you'll almost never get any join messages if you waited in the level. Cool levels is (thankfully) out of the picture as well since people met with others in there too. Now how are they going to meet up? Almost every regular joining method is gone. What could be their answer: Comment Spamming. Sorry if this sounds like a rant but I thought it needed to be discussed. It feels like everyone who wants to finish these will have to beg and grovel for help (myself too which im holding on to avoid it). And the diminsihed options to meet with others could hurt online activity for the many people who cant have a internet browser with them all the time.
