So I have run into a few annoyances so far in converting from LBPV to LBP3 and I thought I would see if you guys found any other ones. I am on PS4, so some of this may not be a problem for a few of you. 1) The Memorizer is not included in the base game, and the level to obtain it is unbeatable even after buying the dlc. 2) Notes are no longer cool and useful. 3) Timers do not work as a lag free analog to digital converter anymore. I love LBP3 so far, but I was excited to combine these tools with some of my older projects.

I have to go and build a bunch of customized probes again for my levels, I don't think I have the good ones that I made anymore. Those could also be better if the times at least worked.

Literally I'm a seasoned LBP player, I know how to check every single nook and cranny for a prize bubble. I got 98% on Ziggurat Grand Hall. I even got out of the map on purpose to look for it. Do you have 100% on it?

3) Timers do not work as a lag free analog to digital converter anymore. THEY COULD HAVE SO EASILY INCLUDED IT IN THE 0.0 SECONDS ON THE POSITIONAL TIMER but alas, no 0 latency ADC (for now) dear sumo ADD THIS PLEASE -logic community

What's worse than them not bringing that stuff over, is not being able to get prize bubbles in the existing game. Literally I'm a seasoned LBP player, I know how to check every single nook and cranny for a prize bubble. I got 98% on Ziggurat Grand Hall. I even got out of the map on purpose to look for it. Do you have 100% on it? I haven't tried to %100 many levels yet, but I have spent a lot of time in the Ziggurat and have not collected everything either, it is indeed quite frustrating. I am pretty sure that in the final world I accidentally crushed some of the prize bubbles with a moving door, and I think they were connected to an object saver, so it is now impossible for me to %100 that level. I am going to try and collect them while in a friends adventure though.

I don't have the game yet, but are you sure you haven't just missed a tutorial? They use it in the story mode, don't they? They can't NOT have included such a fundamental feature...!

Yup. All tools are acquired without doing tutorials, but instead changing a setting in the settings menu. The tool was included in the DC Level Pack, so that is the only way to get the memorizer. The final level in the pack (which you must beat to get the item) is unfinishale because of a broke cutscene. I had someone pass it on to me by copying a LBP2 level into the game, but that is the only way I have been able to get it. Between that and $35 of costumes that I bought after this game released I have a lot of DLC that I can't use.

Isn't there an option to enable advanced create mode? Maybe the memoriser's behind that... That is the setting I was talking about. It is not in the base game at all. It was really disappointing to me as well, but I though $6 was worth it.
