I'm seeing people report that their profiles are becoming corrupted. Honestly I'm not surprised since the game is very buggy right now. I would highly recommend backing up your profile. Sadly there is no option for this in game at the time of this post. If you are on PS4, go to the home menu and go to settings > application saved data management. If you have playstation plus (which you really should), you can choose to update your profile to your online data storage. If you dont trust this method, or don't have playstation plus, there is also an option to copy your data to a usb storage stick. I would also back up your levels in game in case something happens to them as well At this early and buggy stage of the game, everyone should probably do this to be safe, especially if you have completed the story already. This way you dont lose all of your progress if something happens. I know it sucks, but all we can really do now is be patient and take precautions like these to lower the damage.

Sorry but I'm not understanding, are you talking about our buggy LBP3 profiles? I figured it'd make more sense to back up our LBP1 and LBP2 profiles, since those are the ones that are still stable.

The point is to back them up now before anything happens to them. This way if your profile gets corrupted, you have something to go back to. Would you rather just do nothing instead of trying this? As much as I like the story I would rather not have to replay it to get my prize bubbles if this happens to me.

The point is to back them up now before anything happens to them. This way if your profile gets corrupted, you have something to go back to. Would you rather just do nothing instead of trying this? As much as I like the story I would rather not have to replay it to get my prize bubbles if this happens to me. Yeah, I get where you're coming from. I suppose I'm just waiting for the next big patch before really diving into story mode, as I want (most of) everything to work from the start. Hopefully it comes sooner than later.

Hmmm, there's no profile backup in the PS4 version? I wonder if that means they no longer need to store create data in the Game Data on PS4...

Just an FYI about PS+ and backing up LBP3 save data to the cloud for those that may not know, The cloud only gives you 1GB of storage and the LBP3 save data on PS4 is 500+MB (Biggest save file of all my PS4 games so far) so that will eat up half your storage! Sony really needs to increase the PS+ storage size. Anyways I would recommend a USB stick.
