So, recently I have sold all my PS3 games in order to be able to afford LBP3. So now that I have it, I decided it'd be safe to delete all the files for the old games I sold, in the game utility and stuff. Doing this cleared up like 50GB of space (****) and since I sold LBP1 & 2, I deleted them as well. However, I only deleted the files titled "Little Big Planet" and "Little Big Planet 2" which I thought were only needed to run the game, and had nothing to do with DLC as there is 2 more files called "Little Big Planet DLC" and "Little Big Planet 2 DLC" which I kept both of those, and I also kept the profiles from LBP 1 & 2. Now after deleting it, I can no longer use my LBP1 DLC. I can still use my DLC from LBP2 it seems but no longer my LBP1 DLC, such as metal gear solid or my werewolf costume. I tried to go back on the PSN store and re download them, but it did not fix it. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know a fix?

PS3 or PS4? Because most of the DLC has not been ported over to PS4 yet unfortunately. :[

DLC is ransferable, im not sure how, but MM and Sumo have confirmed it. http://http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/10/31/littlebigplanet-3-fully-backwards-compatible/

It's transferable, but none of the content currently exists on the PS4's ps store, so you can't get it.

I actually think I just found the solution... or well, what the problem is at least. Since my LBP1 came with some DLC on it (Game of the year edition) I guess the DLC was in the file "Little Big Planet" in my game data utility instead of the DLC file, which I guess is just for DLC I download/buy myself, not from a disc. I already sold my LBP1... so... dang! I guess I'll have to just buy the Metal Gear Solid, Monster, and History packs again... and whatever else came with LBP1, though I used MGS and Monster more than anything. Oh well... kind of glad this happened in a way because it attracted me to come back to LBP Central... I'll probably keep posting and reading around the forums now.
