Can I get rid of bevels on materials?

I want to create a very flat surface that uses different materials. I seem to recall that I was able to do this in 1 and 2, but it looks like LBP3 applies a slight bevel on the edge of materials, which creates a seam between them when placed. Well, there ya go. Don't I feel silly for banging my head over this for so long. Thanks! - - - - - - - - - - Just got a chance to try it, and it does not work. By default cardboard has a notched edge. Placing the tweaker on it and selecting to remove the bevel actually gives it a bevel.
