I was worried this would happen and it did. I was on the "Upgrading your Littlebigplanet Profile" screen and it took about 5-10 minutes till it froze. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for what to do about this. I'd of course like to have access to my entire LBP2 profile. Thanks!

Same here, can't import, freezes, seems import ruined game Data, can't continue the story now I had no problems at all. Got all my stuff from both games in less than 60 seconds. Get a better internet connection. Stop blaming the game.

It has more to do with PS3 storage I believe. I found that starting the game without importing anything and then importing after going to the pod helps.

Are you guys trying to import it on the first startup? I decided to start without a profile, and tried importing from the settings menu. Unlock LBP Content caused a freeze for me (LBP2 was fine, both of these can be found In my content, I'm guessing it might be related to the LBP1 GOTY content) But Merge profiles worked completely and brought everything over (Found in profile settings) Hope this helps and its good to be back!

Has anyone try it on disc version? Glad I'll be getting the disc version instead of digital, but I'll use JKthree's methods if the transfer does freeze.

Merging profiles worked for me as well. But is it the same exact thing as the 'Unlock' feature? I don't get why there are so many options.
