WOW The game seems to be pretty short. Only 3 WORLDS! (mild Spoilers)

There is:

The Intro
Book One: Manglewood
Book Two: Ziggurat
Book Three: Bunkum Lagoon

I expected at least 6 Worlds:
Manglewood for Oddsock
Ziggurat for Toggle
Bunkum Lagoon for Swoop

and then:
World 4 for first Titan
World 5 for second Titan
World 6 for third Titan

Instead you're fighting one Titan at the end of each Book.

I never bought LBP for its story but after seeing how much work their put in level design, NPC's and sidequests I was expecting more...

The bumped up replay value doesn't justify the lack of more Worlds.

LBP1: 8 Worlds with 24 Story Levels
LBP2: 6 Worlds with 30 Story Levels
LBP3: 3 Worlds with 30 or so Story Levels

Well, I understand what you are saying, but I truly don't mind the amount of worlds this time around. As you wrote here: "LBP3: 3 Worlds with 30 or so Story Levels." and LBP2 had around the same, as long as the story levels add up to around the same amount, it doesn't matter to me. Each world may have multiple themes in them as well, rather than acting as individually themed worlds (LBP 1 & 2), it may work as simply chapter marks, and it might be more diverse than you think within just one of them. It just looks like we'll have to find out once the launch day's finally here =).2014-11-18 02:09:00

LBPV: 5 worlds 24 (w/boss no bonus included) levels
You're not counting bonus levels for 1 and 2 but I think you did for 3
So isn't LBP3 4 story +1 boss +1 hub x 3 18 +2 intro- 20 story levels

I'm expecting a 7-8 score for the story content

Gevurah22 mentioned 30 or so Story Levels on the Neogaf Forum (#4theLayers). I didn't play it (Europe) so I can't say for sure. There is a complete Playthrough on Youtube. Channel: early walkthroughs, part 01-22. You can count the levels on the map for a more accurate answer.2014-11-18 02:41:00

I didnt realize people cared that much about the story. And not that its wrong, but I hated the story since the original LBP. The community levels are much better. I wish they would just give me all the materials and just let me create something!2014-11-18 05:11:00

We've tried to put a new spin on how we provide players with new content to create with.

We have 4 Books in our main story for LittleBigPlanet 3 and each of those Books is packed with more levels and a greater variety of content that were available in previous titles.

Essentially instead of having 6-8 Themes that contained 3-4 Levels offering very familiar content to pick up in every level, we've now tried to ensure that every level within a Book has its own unique design offering its own collection of creation content that can be put to use in your own levels.

We figured that variety was very much key to crafting a new story and giving you folks a greater range of assets to create with.
