The weeds represent life and the struggle that humanity touches by removing aspects of life to make it seem more beautiful than it is. I am curious to see how the controls will work. For some reason I'm picturing whack-a-mole even though I'm pretty sure that's not what you mean. One word. Farmville. Granted, you don't have the ability to do micro-transactions and make the level connect to others playing the level, which is what really made Farmville so addicting to some. If your entire level's goal is really to pull weeds, it may make some nice calming atmosphere. Perhaps a nice top-down view, where your sackthing is simply strolling about a Animal Crossing-type world. Maybe you can incorporate some teeny AI Oddsocks with a greenish pattern (and some programming forcing them to only jump to move) as frogs! Grass keeps growing, and you have to keep up with it. You can also buy plant food, or maybe do something with tyhe grown grass, and it could potentially be an addicting game.
