I miss LBP PSP...

Archive: 6 posts

LBP PSP was the first LittleBigPlanet game I played (going back to my previous posts you can tell ) and as such I have a lot of positive memories retaining from it...Vita, 2 and 3 just don't match up to me, even if they are technically superior. There's definitely a certain vibe unique to PSP...

Does anyone know if the online features are still working? It might be worth it to go back to some of the old levels I used to play...

They're all working. I'm playing LittleBigPlanet for PSP in these days while waiting for LBP3 and about a week ago I downloaded some new levels without any problems.

I agree with you. The good fact about LBP Games for portable consoles is that they aren't just ports, but completely new games. I unfortunately haven't played LBP Vita (I don't even own the console itself) but I loved LBP PSP and I still play it sometimes when I bring my PSP with me. It's simpler, but it's still plenty of fun to play.

If it wasn't for the crashes in the editor, I'd have already published at least one level!

I have both the vita and psp versions on my vita. I still go back and enjoy the levels on the psp version even though the vita's levels are usually more advanced. I'd recommend downloading all the levels you want as soon as possible. Now that 3 is coming, who knows when the servers will be shut down?2014-11-15 15:26:00

I found the Create mode to be quite clunky and slow compared to LBP1 for the PS3. And since the PSP had less buttons, that made it feel a little weird. It was a good try though to port the console game onto a handheld.2014-11-16 20:32:00

For me it's not just lbp psp but also lbp1. Lbp1 was the first lbp game I ever played and it really brings back memories. I met some of my best buddies back then, and it was so fun. Things were so memorable and simplistic. With lbp2 and 3 I feel they went a little overboard. Not to say thats a bad thing, but by the time lbp3 came out, the charm of lbp1 was lost.
