Halloween may have come and gone but we have some awesome Halloween themed levels here to help relive the fun. This is the last episode of the spotlight before LBP3 goes live (in the US at least xD). I hope you have a spooky time. I won’t lie, I don’t actually remember this level too much. Maybe I blocked out all the scary bits. From what I do remember is that I had a lot of fun slowly edging my way through the castle jumping and defying death with much daring-do as one can muster when trapped in a horrifying castle filled with inventive obstacles and... ARGH! Um… what was I talking about again?Wow its that time of the year for spooky madness to begin; why didn't anyone tell me? Now I am all alone in this spooky Castle with no one that I can hold hands with. This wonderful awesome Halloweeen treat with keep you trickery up tight as you diddle daddle across this spookarific level. This immersive wonderful level will keep you up and ready to stay up all night from thouse spooky nightmares you will have after this amazing level! http://i9.lbp.me/img/bl/659bee3b0b6ffad84017ddc364707d82909addf1.pngAnachr onismAratiatiaDon your best antique gladrags and lose yourself in this whimsical tour of traditional steampunk imagery. I have to say that I’m just a sucker for steampunk style and this level has lashings of it. There are oodles of valves and pipes and steam, padded leather, skulls and gauges and grilles. You platform your way through a maze of antique machinery, dodging the electricity and snaffling the golden secrets as you go. It has a kind of puzzle-ish feel to it too, as the path is not always a straightforward one. It’s beautifully designed, intricate and lovely. There’s some cool platforming and bits of logic which make you think “ooh, nice” along the way (like the moment where a block I’ve thrown out of reach realises this and tumbles helpfully back down). This is just a great combination of style and fun.Wow where do I begin, this awesomely fantastic Steam Punk style level has all the odds and ends about in this well put together its like staring at art, or like a giant steamy pile of fantastic fun. This level features some fantastic gameplay as you try and beat this awesome level! Don't worry about losing your jimmies, the memorizer will autosave your progress. Logic and paintings: Ahhh now these are the types of puzzles I like, they start our simple and I feel super smart, they slowly get trickier but you can still work them out. It feels rewarding with each puzzle that you complete. Then boom. You’re sitting there looking at the screen completely stumped, well, almost… then you work it out and you’re back to feeling super smart again!Wow, KomodoBrothers combines super-stylish visuals with some top notch puzzles to deliver a knock-out punch of a level. I don’t know whether the name was the inspiration for the level design or the other way round but it all fits perfectly. The trees have that cool square pixelly feel and the circuits mimic that angular branchy-ness beautifully. Your task is to work out which bits of the circuit to trigger in order to gain safe platforms to jump from one side of the level to the other. It seems fairly straightforward to begin with but things soon get a whole lot harder and it’s not just about working out the solution. No, sadly for me, you also have to be nimble enough to platform your way through as well xD Clever, different and thought provoking, this is a level to savour.Welcome to Circuitree its like a circuit made out of trees.... Okay I'll stop planting bad puns outside.... Okay no more! This awesome puzzle platfomer is just chalk full of amazing platform goodness as you grab, jump, swing, and bounce your way through this amazing puzzle platformer this is one level you should defiantly que up for awesome goodness. http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/6c621d3a7a31a6f41b4b6e42212d2079426823d9.pngWitch of Roses Part2 // 薔薇の魔女 中編a-tziluthIn the castle of Witch's, Can you reach to her room ? // 魔女の城。無事魔女の居室へ辿り着けるか？ music Pandaz and YOMI-YOMI A quirky and spooky level with smart platforming that while challenging, is well laid out with clear direction and achievable jumps. Add to this some very nice scenic sections and er… a whale… for some reason. I was so excited to play these two levels as I have been eagerly awaiting the next instalments of this series for what seems like ages. In it you continue your quest to rescue your friend, kidnapped by the evil Witch of Roses. You must enter her castle and confront her in person. A-tzulith is such a past master at storytelling and at weaving his gameplay seamlessly into the story as he goes. It’s such a rich and beautiful tale, with gorgeous, inspiring artwork, fabulous beasts and lots of fun moments, including a ride on a very unusual creature (no spoilers – play it and see xD). It all culminates in an epic confrontation with the witch, her true colours revealed. This series really will draw you into its world and take your breath away. Artistry and passion on a grand scale.Wow just Wow(sorry Bio im stealing your pronouns for this review) This cool and simply amazing series draws to a close in this amazing chapter of simply just "wow". this fantasticly put together story will make you just itch for more in the astonishing gameplay to the awesomely put together level! The ghosts will help you escape, but can you help them? This is my entry in LBN's Fright Fest contest. Have fun! Please report any bugs. Navigate a dark and scary house with the aid of some helpful ghosts as you try to free them form an ominous shadowy presence. There is some clever platforming, and integrated mini games; broomstick races, survival conveyer belts, and green sticky goo.Oh my, an evil house! Sorry, make that an evil rotten very bad haunted house of doom! And that’s no exaggeration XD Fortunately the house is inhabited by some friendly green ghosts who give you a hand to make your escape. It’s a very cool idea, beautifully implemented with the ghosts swooping around showing you where to go and what to do. In fact, the whole level is bursting with clever ideas and wonderfully varied gameplay, from wall jumping to broomstick races and a fantastic chase sequence to end the level. The house is very determined to get you, with dark shadow hands appearing to foil your escape and a dramatic denouement which will test your speed and skill. A truly fun and inspired level which engages you from the start and has you rooting for the ghosts for once!Wow what a mouth full of awesomeness just rolls of the tongue in awesomeness! The evil rotten very bad haunted house of doom should have a super turbo mega awesome mode because thats how it is just that awesome. The lights are on, but is anyone home? Platform and Paintgun your way through the funhouse. I just hope you make it out alive....Music by Disturbing clowns in a deserted amusement park? Sure! That sounds like a great place to hang out! old-gen power ups combined with new-gen make for some fun and tricky sections where you are sliding down a wall while shooting targets with your paint gun. You just need to get past the scary clowns and you should be fine...Nothing quite like grinning clowns to send a shiver down your spine. This haunted funfair may be deserted but it’s packed with atmosphere. Whatever you do, watch your step because the funhouse is about to have fun with you. There are pitfalls and surprises aplenty. You’ll find platforms disappearing from under your feet, you’ll be bounced places you didn’t expect and everywhere you turn those clowns will be laughing evilly at you. It’s an awesome combination of atmosphere and challenging but fun gameplay. I loved the paintinator obstacles and although I my skills would not get me far in any shooting gallery, I enjoyed every second of this. Wicked fun!What would happen if The joker got a hold of a copy level and made a level? This would happen. This awesomely put together level of well crafted awesomeness just gets better every minute more that you play. This great and awesomely crafted level will keep your sackperson on their toes or what ever. Enjoy this beautiful level as you make it to the end this is one spooky awesome level you should play. (Update 1.03, Gameplay fixes) A wonderful spooky platformer comes with a great mix of dark atmosphere and some the Nightmare Before Christmas DLC to make a professionally balanced experience. You enter a castle that is nothing but chills that is giving down your sack spine in what is described as a no mans land. That's a good thing because Sackboy isn't a man, Sackboy is a sackthing which makes the lad equipped for what is to come right on the end of this year's Halloween festivities.Halloween may be over, but the spooks are still going strong. Make your way through a spooky decrepit castle while trying to find your way out. The use of the touch screen greatly added to the "Vita" vibe, and in my opinion added to the overall replay value. I can guarantee this will be a creepy trip that you will never forget. Also, be on the lookout for spooky pumpkins, they'll greatly increase your score.Doggy97 is back and better than ever! Gather your last Halloween spirit and get to enter (and actually try to escape) this spooky mansion, filled with top-notch platforming and amazing visuals, which is usual from doggy's work. Thx for playing Hope your thirsty throat is satisfied with the drink you have given it before scorching through nothing but sand and dry stones with your handy dandy grappling hook. A platformer where your bouncing on to trains and dodging fire balls with some pretty cool game play based on a successful swing will make you enjoy such a level especially with 8 secrets for you to collect to spice things up under the hot sunny flares.Back in my days, when I was trapped in a desert the only thing I had were a pair of shoes, a purple sock and three tires (don't ask). A least Sandro 8708 give you more than that! Explore a Canyon-like desert filled with amazing grapping-hook gameplay. Personally I found that the best thing about this level is how smart some of its obstacles are, some of them I've never seen before! Swing, spin, jump and avoid the deathly cactuses as you make your way through this level, and be on the lookout for the best way to gather as many points as possible! Also from the Showcase... Racing though a house with custom made objects in a spooky theme that are bigger than the average karter and cool weapons like a full functioning flying-animated bat which acts as a booster through those deep and dark hallways coated with terror. An enjoyable racer with plenty of thrills awaits.Shame on me, I have no idea whatsoever what the description above is trying to communicate to us. It should probably contain: 'This level is so so so so so so awesome'. Prepare for the last wave of Halloween-esqueness in LBPK with this magnific track, filled with custom weapons which include but not limit to transforming into racing vampires during the race. The details in every object made for the race is a very nice touch, too, and you'll often find yourself wondering how did he put together some of the objects inside this level's haunted house. Get to your queue button, ready, set, go!Halloween may be over but that doesn't mean we can't celebrate this awesome level! Race around a large mansion while dodging the many creatures that will try to block your path. Of course you'll have to watch out for your friends as well. With custom made obstacles this level is both tricky and fun. Fun battle great prizes...easy If you are one of those people who wants to get soaked into something based on a first impression, the intro cut scene of this battle arena will surely convince you of the fun that lies ahead. Allure in the green fresh setting of a Garden with wonder.. the wonder of weaponry and blasting karts that are await to achieve the winning score. Drift with the foliage and enjoy the prizes scattered through the arena while showing your skills in Battle Garden.There's no better way to start a playsession than with a level which has so much detail into it that it hurts. Specially if you're blown into a trizillion pieces when you were about to get the first place. My lack of skills aside, what is so good about this battle arena is that it is so detailed, that you almost feel like in a Story level. The scenery, the characters, the in-battle obstacles, it just mixes perfectly to bring us a happy, green, ecological, magical death arena. I wish that the upper levels were a little bit easier to reach (specially when playing with IAs who won't take advantage of the numerous shortcuts, bounce pads and whatnot), so if you can grab a sackbuddy to play with you can get your fun score multiplied by 3X. Either way, this is one of the best arenas I've played in quite a while. Get it into the good ol' queue! Grab your friends and get ready to fight! You'll be weaving in and around the beautiful Garden dodging your fierce competitors many attempts to stop you in your tracks. You'll also want to look out for the many bugs that litter the area, hitting them may result in an explosion with kart parts going everywhere. Binomes are different environments, and usually these settings are taken with a designers eye and they use it as a theme to construction their own creation of what it should look like! Take the Binome of a Lake and this creator put their vision to show what they think it should be like, adding in an awesome cavern awaiting to be explored in this one awesome track.So I was challenged to write a review it three words (not really): Simple, well done and amazing. Unfortunately I can't leave it like that so I'll have to add more words to it! What I dislike about some mind-blowing tracks is that, even though they have really nice visuals, the track design can be horrendous. Not this time around. Even though this track is fairly simple, it is perfectly built, and the graphic-gameplay balance is just great. Play this if you want to sit back and enjoy LBPK as it was meant to be played. Thanks guys for spotlighting me My son was really excited to see my level on the computer just now I know you all put a lot of time into playing everyone's posted levels and that is a big commitment from you. Wesfun, thanks for the cool vid. I love the outfit! BTW, my username is from the Maori language, and is pronounced ah-ra-tee-ah-tee-ah (it's phonetic like Latin languages). No one seems to get it right outside on New Zealand Thanks again everyone, I am pumped for LBP3, yay!
