Option to disable the whooshing sound when your going at high speeds?

I suppose for the same reason I want to turn off all the built in sounds. If you are trying to create a certain ambience, it's difficult to maintain that ambience when the game constantly reminds you (through sound) that you are playing LBP. It's why I wrote this:

I get other sounds, and can see why someone wouldn't want those either, but the speeding whoosh- I'm curious as to why that one. Unless of course what you were using was actually going that fast.

Does it make the whooshing sound when you up the speed of the running? I can't remember if it did or not. I know what you mean though. It isn't as if you would hear that sound very often. Usually any fall far enough to trigger the sound is a fall that ends in death, so it's just a matter of killing sackboy before the sound triggers. That's a workaround I can live with ... BUT DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE MAGIC MOUTH!

Don't ask me. I've seen great presentations completely destroyed by these intrusive and annoying sounds. Not to mention the pain of having press a button several times to skip it (as fast as you can).

It feels like I'm playing the same Nintendo game for the nth time and I must play the mini-game, bash the B button!

Granted, I always read everything when it's first presented, but when I have to pass that same thing over and over again, and that dang sound keeps popping up with the circle button, I start to wonder if they put that in just to bug players.
