| This is mobile phone Hyperlapse x6 video I took of Marmalade during a test run the other night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJbBIDgR9c4 I originally started this level on LBP2, but decided to bring over some of it to use as my base in the LBP3 Beta. This concept is a mix of several different ideas and definitely needs a lot of tweaking to be close to a finished product. The main idea from the beginning was to make one playable layer, but use all the layers to create visual interest and then display this in a flat view to the player. Once I created the platformer world, I decided to make a playable intro to demo the gameplay and that?s where the circle world platformer came into play. My idea is to create multiple worlds like these that you hop back and forth on to complete your quest and string high scoring combo?s along the way. Creating these detailed little spinning worlds with moving parts is quite time consuming, so I stopped with just the one for now and added a little old fashioned ?left to right? platforming for fun while testing some other gameplay ideas. While creating on the Beta, I found an unusual bug where most sounds wouldn?t fire when using the movie camera with a flatness of <=10. I spent a lot of my time in the beta trying to overcome this limitation to no avail, so I?m hoping that bug will be squashed in the release.
